I think it's more a case of the bowl sponsors (The BCS bowl sponsors in particular). That bowl money gets spread around to a lot more schools than ever before as well.

College football is a bidness first.....JMJ

College football's business is ruled by the conferences! The NCAA has NO say in the business of college football. It's the conferences that run the show.

1) That's why on 9/11, some conferences said "no game" and others said "let's play".
2) That's why there's a Bowl Comedy Series!

If Hawaii beats Georgia, like Alabama beat on Miami in the Sugar Bowl a couple of years back, then I'm going to be very happy (keepin that shit to myself, people around here "luh dey Dawgs").

System should be changed to a playoff format + games should be played sooner - waiting 30 days after the end of the regular season to play is too long
