About FLIPSIDE

FLIPSIDE ( www.clubflipside.com (http://www.clubflipside.com) | www.myspace.com/daveruss66 (http://www.myspace.com/daveruss66) ) is a House music event that was founded on November 2, 2001 in Hartford CT.

History

"Last Friday it was old school reunion time at Scarlett O'Hara's. DJ Dave Russell and Marvin Harris put together a house dance party "Flipside." The only snafu was not having a defined dance floor. There will be another one Nov. 23 and if a dance floor gets worked out, it should be fab. The nostalgia of deep, classic and vocal house was sweet and any die-hard house dancer needs to be there." - India Blue (R.I.P.), Hartford Advocate, Nov 8, 2001.

Since then, FLIPSIDE has made regular stops in Washington DC, Miami FL, Boston MA, Durham NC, New York NY, Arlington VA, Houston TX, Baltimore MD, Chicago IL and Los Angeles CA.

Although FLIPSIDE has branched out nationally, the event and organizers have always honored its roots where some of the best House Music lovers reside, holding the party monthly, non-stop, for over 6 years in the capital city of Connecticut.

What to Expect

Expect the entire portfolio of House Music - Dave Russell is known for his diverse sets, including a healthy dose of new House vocals, tracks, a sprinkle of classics from all genres.
