TAMPA, Fla. (Dec. 4) - A former middle school teacher serving house arrest for having sex with a 14-year-old student was arrested Tuesday for violating her probation, state records showed.:wtf:

According to a Department of Corrections report, Debra Lafave discussed her personal life and other subjects with a teenage waitress at a restaurant where they both worked. One of the terms of her probation had been that she was not allowed to have unsupervised contact with any minors without permission.

Do men ever get house arrest for the same charge?

Its a definite double standard between men and women in these type of cases.It's not the law but the court of public opinion.If a teenage boy says he was abused by a woman some see him as a punk.It's that whole Mrs.Robinson syndrome as i like to call it.

I guess its okay for young males to talk about being hot for teacher.

We tend to be guard our daughters, they still have the same cravings for their male teachers.

The law looks at the incidents very differently, go figure.
