Your best whys
For everything you do, there is a reason why. It may be silly, it may be profound, but in every case there is some reason or other. There are those things you gladly do, those things you reluctantly do, and those things you put off until the last possible moment. For each one of those things, there is a reason why.
If you were to think about each why before you acted on it, consider what would happen. Many of those things that only end up causing regret and dismay, you'd never do at all. And those things that bring value and accomplishment, you'd find yourself doing more and more. Because instead of blindly following any old why, you'd pick the ones that matter most.

Life is filled with whys, yet following them all is not very wise. Decide to follow the ones that mean the most to who you are and the person you would like to become.

Think of the why behind what you do, before you ever do it. Pick the whys that matter most, and you'll get where you truly want to go.

Did you write that yourself.....?

Nonetheless, it has great merit in many degrees.

Just trying to build with you, share, that's why I am typing.

Although we may come up with say 3 reasons why, we do what we do, our answers may not necessarily be correct. Sure, to ourselves they are, sort of a way of justifying/rationalizing our own behavior, but we as humans are feeble. Dismay and regret seemingly is a product of poor decisions, I am guilty as anyone, but being incorrect is a way of learning to isnt it? (I am not promoting a formula for getting to the correct way by being wrong, by no means).

Our rationalizations are justified, my buddy, commented one night, on many things but mostly
what ever will bring the greatest amount of pleasure to the body. The mind quickly evaluates what will bring the most pleasure to the body and chooses that course/option. Very cultural at this juncture and I liked your choice of words "value & accoplishment".... graemlins/thumbsup.gif ...but that could perhaps explain why I like this music, or why people want to party all the time, pleasure.
(screw the pleasure/pain principle in general, but
some of it, at least in America culture has significance)

Instead of our minds or rational processes, which can be falsely lead by a great many of things, perhaps we are better to use our hearts......

I dunno... graemlins/conf44.gif

(liking that coral sketch too of the elder sistas)
