I would bring this to the attention of the System Administrator as soon as possible so that you don't get blamed for it.

Why isn't your workstation password-protected?

mad1.gif Turn them in and also put my foot deep in their ass.

Seriously...turn them in, cause if not it will come back to haunt you. Then tell his wife or girlfriend so they can be completely disgusted.....

This guy at my job was doing that at my computer before i got to work. he was compiling folders of naked/half naked women and leaving them at work. He started calling women from Blackplanet all over the U.S. and we work at a gov't facility. I would have all these porn popup ads. Well, they took away our internet for months, intercepted our calls. He's under investigation.

Very serious problem. But first, you need to have the system monitored while your not there because he can deny that its him whose doing it

The bottom ine is your job is seriously at risk, so you need to take action promptly.

Peace

-Gerard Like do it yesterday.... </font>[/QUOTE]I did do it yesterday, thanks Leslie!

I also saved and printed my IE history from Sunday which was nothing but gay porn sites. I told my tech person about it and she kept a record and gave it to our boss. (To access the building after work our you need a special key which records your comings and goings...so they know it wasn't me.)

The reason why the work stations are not password protected is so that if need be someone else could use my computer. All my pertinent files are password protected on the server.

Thanks for the advice people. This really gave me the heebe geebe's!

Exactly, TAC. Because the guy at my job tried to say it wasn't him, but if you go into the history, it shows the time that each site was visited. He doesn't start til 7:30 but he'd get in at at about 6:30-6:45 because his wife is a nurse here and she had to be here early. These sites were visited around that time. Everybody else starts at 7:30 or 8:00 but I am the only one that starts at 9:00. But they never suspected me cause they did get ahold of his porn collection.

Maybe it was you...Sort of a "Fight Club" type scenario where you've got this alter ego that likes gay porn. ;)

I go through this alot at the High School I work at. Compared to the middle and elementary schools, the kids in highschool will download and access sites that have yet to be added to our filter.

Some students have been permanently banned from using school computers for an entire year and some have had to pay money for restoration of a PC depending on the damage done to it.

Always check the History, Cookies, Recent Items, and Objects folders within Internet Explorer and keep. Make copies of these folders if you have to.

Peace
