so we're looking for a cd recorder to add to the system we've set up. any suggestions?

please give your suggestion for these three categories:
1. economy (this one will get you by until your cheap a** gets your priorities straight biggrinangel.gif )
2. reasonable (this one is a quality purchace and has choice features)
3. splurge (this is the creme de la creme... so luxe)

- or -

the one recorder that is the best hands down

thanks in advance! graemlins/beerchug.gif

I've had the Harmon Kardon dual CD for about a year now and it works like a charm.

To be clear, it does not record two CDs at once. It only records on one side, but you can dub CDs at 4X speed.

I think it was about $450 when I bought it.

Most bang for the buck: TDK DA-3826 Dual-Well CD Recorder (around $300). The cream of the crop: Alesis Masterlink CD Recorder with built in hard drive, editing and mastering capabilities. $900-1000.......JMJ
