So the past few days have been interesting to say the least. So many themes have come out of the shelter/summerstage discussions that I've lost track. I thought I'd mention some and ask other people to add what they see as main themes. (did I hear a collective groan?)

HERE'S THE TWIST...

You can not respond to anyone else's post..either to affirm or dispute. You can only add your own thoughts and you MUST stick to the topic. Add a Theme. Can you handle it???? :D

Here's some themes that I tried to keep track of and that might be good for general topics, not venue specific or event specific threads.

* when should identifying an issue seen or not seen as complaining and bitching?
* is the actual action of identifying an issue seen as the problem or is it the delivery (tone, language used, etc.) that causes the problem?
* what part/responsibility do individual DJs have in delivering their end of the bargain when those DJs are slated to perform and their performances are promoted to the masses? Is that responsibility to both the venue/party/organizers AND to the crowd or to just one side?
* do men like to keep shyt going just as much as women?
* Is there a difference between House The Experience and House The Business when it comes to nightclub operations and event management?

Entertain me, please. It's a slow day as the maytag repairman of technology.
