hey Ron, my apologies for the lateness..you know how i'm "weasling" that remix of the next Big GF single called "Ain't A Greater Hater" (think "Jenny From The Block" but with an aggressive thug-hop or rather "weasel-pop" flavor..heh! heh!) but thanks for the kind words...let me know which mixes i sent you so i can put down a playlist. i sent several and i lost track who got which cds...thanks and let me know when you're done:) have a great week...
:D :D
ps -- the remix will have a bonus hidden track called "weasel to the floor", which is a tear-the-club-up, southern-crunk type joint...think "Lil' Jon And The Eastsidaz" graemlins/rofl.gif

Ronnie, hope all is well...again, let me know which mixes you got so i can get you the playlists..
GF, you know we got to get this weasel out of the easel and into the bigtime...before you know it, you'll be having guest spots with your boy "Freeze" from the "Icy Hot Stuntaz" and be on the video with him flossing his mom's 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with spinning hubcaps (he can't afford the real deal sprewells) and homemade candy paint (done real cheaply by spreading glitter bought from an arts supply store and applied liberally with heaps of transparent goop)...what a baller!

next thing you know, just like snoop has his show on mtv you and pimp weasel are going to have your own show on "MuchMusic" featuring "Freddie Ferret" aka "The Flossed-Out Ferret". guess i got to get the puppets ready for the video, you know, the "extras" for the "all up in the club" video for your album...
take care GF...weasel out of the mid-week hump with the ease:)

Thanks for the kind words...Ronnie, that Prince remake was done by Barbara Dixon (Wanna Be Your Lover) from 1992 on Bottom Line Records. I found that and about 4 other singles from that label (early 90s) at a community radio sale. Ed "The Red" Goldstman later moved his operations to Myakka City (a tiny town over an hour south of tampa) and transformed his operation into "u-turn" records and now does the breaks/progressive bit, although his web site was and may still sell reissues from the bottom line days.
Chris, thanks for letting me know about the package arrival...did the pictures came out all right?
Walter, that song you inquired about is Flash & The Furious Five under their alter-ego "The Younger Generation" called "We Rap More Mellow" from '79 on Brass Records....This was played in one of the "Eyes On The Prize" shows (1980 Miami Riots episode)
Martin, i found another copy of that COD album and it reminded me of an earlier post where we were talking about the heavy synth emphasis on some of the songs and i said to myself, "Martin's got to have this!" That 9th Creation group were famous for the rare-groove classic "bubble gum" and i found that album on the cheap...
that first car you posted kind of looks like a postwar buick but i am not so sure with an oldsmobile grille. definently part of the "lead sled" custom craze where the roof height was lowered and grilles/hubcaps/tailights were fitted from other carmakes. The 1949 Mercury is to lead-sleds what the 1964 Chevy Impala is to lowriders:
