Alright, I know its old but I've just finished watching it and I suppose the simple question for a curious non-american resident is - how true is it? I know MM has a reputation for showing the most extreme cases and facts but I was just wondering...

i really hate the healthcare system here... benefits are dropping and contributions/deductions/co-pay/co-insurance is going up. I was helping review and explain next year's benefits to people this year and it's fucked up how much worse the plans are becoming.

Got fucked with my PPO, went for testing this year and owe 2000. Aparently they can tell you that your estimated payment is 300 and later say that the actual procedures cost 2000 (for me) and they couldn't accurately predict. PPO's can be really good but the 20% really adds up. I know my problems are nothing compared with what others have to live through.
