What ever became of the case in which four college students were murdered in a park over the summer? Law & Order had an episode that seemed to be based on that story, and I just wanted an update on the real story. Did they finally catch everyone involved, and what was the motive? By all accounts, it appears that the victims were all good kids --- wrong place/right time.

That happen in NJ. I think the case is still open.

Essex county prosecuter has taken over the investigation as they prepare for trial. They haven't released any info regarding the motive, but they have excluded bias crimes from the investigation.

Got this info from a friend who does community work in NJ. It came up in convo just recently.
