Great interview Mike... Yo, I knew the Valley was apart of early Hip Hop history, but it never gets mentioned. This interview is also further testimony on how Hip Hop and Disco(leading to House music) shares the same background with 2 different appoaches in terms of the Disco sound and the B-boy sound for those of you who want to dispute that the to genres are not related. I knew Kool Kyle was from the BX. But I had know idea he grew up on W. Gun Hill Road. Although I did know Timmy Hall, Eddie Cheba and KBJ used to always do jams in Haffin Park(aka the Valley park). I was mad young at the time but my brother and sister use to check em out all the time. I do remember listening to tapes of Timmy Hall and the Come off crew back in the day and in fact he flowed at Valley day in the late 90's. Dudes was buggn... it was real cool. I also remember hearing about the wild $h!t that went down in the T-Connection(aka the "T"). My brother was up in that piece every week and my man Odis got graced in the head back in the day at the T... Rumer had it that it was dudes from Gun hill PJs who was clappin that night. No doubt, the "T" along with the Stardust were the spots uptown(BX). And in the summer the Valley Park use to have the dopest jams in the NE set where madd mcs like Grandmaster Caz, Rahiem(who went to Truman High), T Ski Valley, JDL, Mike C and Toney Tone and other well known rappers at the time came to perform. Not to mention the Valley had it's own breed of cats holdn it down Like The Dominant Force crew with DJ Spin Master Kilowatt, The Grand Supreme Mike D(rip), DJ Lee(rip) and the Master 3 MCs; Prince Boyd B, Baby J and Kid Romance with an honorable mention to MC Koolout the original member of the Master 3 formally known as the Classy 2 MCs. Rest in peace my nigga.... That's all family right there my dude... One day imma right a book about our section of the Bronx. The NE section. Big up to Edenwald, Boston Road, Gun Hill PJs, Boston Secor, Eastchester PJs, Mark Terrece, Baychester PJs, Co-op city (sections 1-5) and of course Peace and love to the Valley 4 life... Rest in peace to Gurdy, Anthony (Wolfe) Jones and all the fallen Valley soldier.

Once again great piece of work Mike B....

RobDoe, I think i know the indentity of your man Dj Spinn Master Kilowatt my man(Is it a cat from The Bronx, Who posts on the board, Who is one of the most respected cats on the Dj circuit in New York moneygrip/LOL), Robdoe, I've been to more than a few throwdowns around Co-OP City(I never knew the name of the park/The Valley Park), I do remember cats like Timmy

Hall,KBJ,The Funky 4(Much respect to Dj Breakout),Etc, Rocking in the late 70's(Around 1977 to 1979 was the timeframe that i used to go to Throwdowns around Co-Op City, Right off the Bruckner Expressway, Heading towards Mount Vernon/LOL), Robdoe, Timmy Hall and KBJ used to rock throwdowns at New York Tech(The Campus On Long Island),Stoney Brook,Old Westbury,ETC, During the early/mid 80's to the ninth power my man/LOL,

Robdoe, I remember checking out Timmy Hall,KBJ and Lovebug Starski, Rocking at the Stardust Ballroom(Which was located on Fish ave and Gun Hill Road a few minutes off the Bruckner Expressway), On Thanksgiving night of 1980(Dj Aj was mixing that night too/LOL), Robdoe, The Stardust Ballroom was one of my main spots in the Bronx back in the 70's/Early 80's my man(Along with Webster Ave PAL,Hoe ave Boys club(I used to play against cats from the Bronx in summer basketball leagues at the Hoe ave Boys club in the mid 70's/LOL),Club 371(My main spot in the Bronx during the mid to late

70's/LOL),Echo Park,Rosedale Park(Across the street from Bronxville Projects/Much Respect to Disco King Mario, Who was rocking throwdowns at Rosedale Park in 1975),Bronx River Projects(Much Respect to Bambatta, Who started rocking throdowns at Bronx river in 1975) Robdoe, I never made it to The Disco Fever my man/LOL, But, Back then in the Bronx, There were far too many spots to even worry about going to the Fever, As far as i was concerned(Along with the many house parties on Hunts Point ave and The

Grand-Concourse, Close to 3rd ave in the South Bronx/LOL, Robdoe, Do you remember The Young Sound Masters From castle Hill ave(Which featured Jus-Ice/LOL), Back in the mid to late 70's my man, Rodboe, your right on time, In regards to your comments about the once very strong connection, Between the Dance music and hiphop scenes in the 70's/80's, in New York my man, Robdoe, Mad hiphop cats like Kurtis Blow,Russell Simmons,Red

Alert,Bambatta,Afrika Islam,Dj Devine(Infinity Machine in Queens), LA Sunshine(Treacherous 3),Easy Lee(Treacherous 3),Greg G(Disco 4),Kool Moe Dee(Who had a plate in the early 90's, Called,'Can you feel it', That was produced by Maurice Joshua from Chicago house music fame in the 80's/90's),Marly Marl(Who used to sometimes fill in for Timmy Regisford mixing on BLS from

12midnight to 2am on Saturday nites in the late 80's(Much Respect to Timmy Regisford for putting Marly Down like that),Etc, RobDoe, Alot of hiphop cats don't like to admit it(Only the cats who are truley honest and sincere with their's in regards to information/LOL), More than a few hiphop cats feel if they mention that they used to hang at Dance music spots, There hiphop legacy and Status will be tarnished/LOL), Robdoe, Cats like Rod

Strickland,Kenny Smith,Mark Jackson,Derrick Chievous,John Salley,Pearl Washington,Gary Springer(6'7 cat From Uptown, Who played for Franklin Highschool from 1976-1980), Richie(The Animal)Adams(Franklin HS),Billy Goodwin(Gophers HS/Columbus HS from the mid to late 70's),Etc, Along with mad drug kingpins and stickup kids(Too many to mention/LOL), All used to get loose at Dance spots allover New York during the mid 70's to mid 80's moneygrip/LOL).

No doubt Mike!!! DJ Spin Master Kilowatt is a member on DHP. But I'll let him tell you who he is...LOL. But those were the days. Believe it or not I never heard of the Young Sound Masters until I read an article in the Source where they interviewed Just Ice. It was a year a so ago but if I remember correct he was saying that even though he was raised in Brooklyn, he use to go to his aunts house up in the Bronx where he got involved in the culture. It's wild cause it seems like back then every neighborhood uptown had a crew or 2 who were not quite as big as the elite but they still repped they hood. Like I said Along with Timmy hall and the Come Off crew the Valley had "The Dominant Force Crew", DJ Mike Blast, T Ski Valley(B4 he moved to the 2s), then later we put out the 1 hit wonder group "Tru Culture" where that rapper "Broadway" came out of b4 he went solo in the mid 90s. Do you remember a song and music video called "Say no friends" made by Broadway featuring Fat Joe and Grand Puba? It didn't get much radio spins but they did air it on Rap City for a time and it was also a mixtape banger in late 93 early 94. That video was shot in the Valley Park... The " V" also produced a club music artist in my man Free from "In Touch"(Without You produced by TR). Edenwald had "Famous MCs" , Joe Ski Love(b4 he moved to Parkchester where he rolled with The Hardcore 4 MC along with my man TR Love from Ultramagnetic)and I believe DST was also from Edenwald. Chuck Chillout and Funk Flex grew up down the block from Edenwald up in the 2s(227th right off Laconia). Co-op City(section 5 aka the "Power section") had "The Hypnotizing 5' , along with Fresh 3 MCs(Born Unique was in my class). Eastchester PJs had the "Ultimate 4". Boston RD(NE section) had "Touch of Class" who were under DJ Break Outs umbrella.

But in those early days i was too young to go to most of these legendary spots. Never been to the T Connection(at least when it was still the T), 371, The Savoy, Boys club on Hoe Ave, Harlem World, The Audobaun(Sp?), the uptown Garage, Roseland, Broadway International, nor the Stardust(til my mid to late teens). And I finally made it out to the Fever for the 1st time in 85. But at this point in my life i'm just reaching 16 and trying to hit every club without getting in trouble from mom duke. Mainly spots downtown like the Roof Top, the Fun House and the Roxy. So at that point hitting the Fever was no longer a big deal for me. My brother was a regular in the Stardust and the "T". So by the time i was old enough to step foot in the T, it just wasn't the same. They already closed it (sometime in 82?) and re-opened under a new name called "The Blue room" and then later "The Spiders Web". The Web was where I 1st saw Doug fresh and Slick Rick do Ladi Dadi in 84, a year b4 it was on wax. So in that era I totally missed out on the time when Flash 1st pulled out the Beat Box in the "T". Although I did get it on tape a week later through my brother. In the early days the only way i was able to witness a crew(a known crew at that) do they thing was if they came out to the park, the Project centers or if they performed in the young spots like the old Skate Key on Allerton Ave. After collecting all their tapes i finally got to see Cold Crush perform live in the Key in the fall of 82. i also remember when JDL came out to the "V" on the dolo and did a sick a$$ freestyle in summer 83 around the time when the CC4 came out with "Punk Rock Rap". It's wild cause now if you come to the NE BX, you can catch alot old school cats on the low at certain spots. At one point in the early to mid 90s we use to always see Bambatta every saturday at Pathmark in Co-op city. Kevy Kev be up at Cafe Lue on Boston Rd on the humble and Kool Herc be in Baychester PJs on the reg.

RobDoe, Mad good lookin in regards to the hiphop history around your way in the Bronx my man(WORD/LOL), RobDoe, I'm not gonna toss your man Dj Spinn Master Kilowatt's name in the light like that moneygrip(I know who it is though/LOL), Robdoe, It was the same in Queens too my man, In regards to every neighborhood had a crew(Dj crew that is/LOL), That was nice, But, Not that well-known outside of there area, Robdoe, The elite cats in Queens,

During the mid 70's to mid 80's, Were, Infinity Machine(From the Southside/Jamaica,Queens),Disco Twins(Queensbridge Projects),King Charles(Astoria,Queens),Cipher Sounds(Southside),Phase III(Jamaica,Queens),Dj Herc-U-Rock(Jamaica Park),Etc, I would include Ralph McDaniels too, But, Ralph McDaniels was mixing in spots back in 1978(Blue Ice on Springfield Blvd in Hollis/Queens Village area), Opposed to the cats that i mentioned earlier,

Who were rocking throwdowns in the parks, Then, Rocking throwdowns in the Spots/LOL, Ralph McDaniels is a Dance music cat to the ninth power with his(Alot of cats don'[t know that though, Because, Of Ralph McDaniels creation of Video Music Box in 1984), Rovdoe, Didn't Joe Ski Love, Make that plate,'The PeeWee Herman', In the mid 80's my man(Which featured the Dance too/LOL), Robdoe, I don't remember the plate/Video, 'Say no Friends',

By Broadway Featuring Fat Joe and Puba my man(Robdoe, I do suffer from those senior citizen moments my man/LOL), Robdoe, Kevie Kev(Water Bed Kev fame in the 80's, Along with being down with the L-Brothers in the mid/late 70's and the Fantastic Romantic 5 MC's), Kev has a mad funny interview on Jayquans site too my man(Robdoe, Back in the 70's/80', Kev looks exactly like Rod Strickland, Another Truman Highschool Almunus from

1984(When Truman Took it/PSAL New York City Title, Beating Jackson from Queens, Which Featured Boo Harvey from the southside/LOL), RobDoe, JDL(Coldcrush 4), Was nice with his(I always felt that after Caz, JDL was the second best MC from the Coldcrush 4), Robedoe, On the low, LA Sunshine almost died in The Stardust Ballroom in the early80's my man(True Story), LA Sunshine,Mister Magic,Fly Ty(From Queensbridge Projects and Juice crew fame in the early/mid 80's/LOL),And, Mike C(Fearless 4), Were cooling at The Stardust Ballroom in the early 80's, And, LA Sunshine Noticed that Dougie(Dougie Fresh), Was having static with some cats in the Stardust, Well,

Seeing that his man was in some sort of static that involved some cats, And, Being the True friend that he most definitely is, LA Sunshine stepped to Dougie and the other cat(That Dougie had static with), Too Dead the potential nonsense, But, A cat came from Behind LA Sunshine and hit LA Sunshine with the butt of a pistol, Causing LA Sunshine to lose conciousness for a few(Along with LA Sunshine bleeding very badly too), LA Sunshine was rushed to the hospital with a head injury(LA Sunshine still has the gash on his head to this very day too), The Doctors at the Hospital, Mentioned to LA

Sunshine, That If were not rushed to the hospital right away, LA Sunshine would have died in the stardust ballroom that night my man, Robdoe, LA Sunshine made a plate in 1994, Called,'A True Story', Which was featured on the Treacherous 3's CD called,Old School Flavor(Which received NO SUPPORT FROM THE HIPHOP COMMUNITY), Robdoe, LA Sunshine has a rhyme on his plate called,'A True Story', That i most definitely love my man, The lyrics go alittle somthing like this: I(LA Sunshine), Would not have been in this(Trying to dead that nonsense that involved Dougie Fresh), If i would hae minded my own business, But, That's not my definition of a friend(True words to live by my man).

Aiiiiight! Yeah I think it's obvious that Queens was definately putting in work back in the day. I heard of the Disco Twins and I think my brother still has a old school flyer with their name on it. Is Cipher Sounds the same DJ that be on the Hot 9seven from the Big Dog Pitbull click? I also remember Jimmy Spicers "Super Ryhmes" being a huge banger in the BX in 81 along with "Dollar Bill" in 84. Jimmy Spicer also did that cut " The Bubble Bunch" in 82 off the world famous Casio drum machine in 82 if i'm correct. And isn't King Tim and the Fatback band who made THE 1st hip hop record b4 "Rappers Delight" from Queens? It's amazing cause back then Queens was heavily slept on by the BX, BK and uptown even when Jimmy Spicer was rockn $h!t, til Run DMC changed that in 82. Along with Cool J in 84. Yo Sucker MCs was a madd banger and the instrumentals eventually became a break beat where dudes use to flow off the beginning(something like Action). And based on how they flowed you can tell they were serious old school dudes. Especially when they came out with the"Here we go" routine to the "Big beat" break on wax. However, Cool J in my humble opinion was the 1st rapper to bring that shall we call it "high tech, big word" style to the game. I mean Mo D was doing it before along with his fast ryhme style, but he still had that classic old school "yes' yes yall" flow. Where as, Ls flow truly represented the beginning of a new era of the so-called lyricist. After L rappers really had to step their game up that much more. And by the late 80s early 90s. Queens was on fire. Most of the hip hop albums I was coppn back then were dudes from Queens. Rappers like Craig G(one of the sickest freestyle artist eva!!!), Kool G Rap, Nas, Mobb Deep, OC, Large Professor(ill a$$ producer as well), The Lost Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Organize Konfusion(Yes I got their very 1st album from 91 along with Stress(2nd) & Equinox,3rd), Capone & Nore, Royal Flush(ice down Madallions), The Beatnuts(aka track masters), Mic Geronimo, Drez of Black Sheep, Ja rule, Irv Gotti and of course 50 cent and G-Unit. Yo dudes definately gotta give it up for the Q borough and their huge contribution to hip hop. You ever read Ethal Browns "Queens Reigns Supreme". I'm sure you have. But if you didn't you probably know all the stories mentioned. But it's an exellent read in terms of $h!t that was poppn in Queens in the late 70s early to mid 80s in terms of the drug game and hip hop that were pretty much unknown to the rest of the N.Y.C.

BTW I never knew about the Stardust incident with LA Sunshine. But I'm sure dudes around the way know about it. Mainly older dudes. That $h!t is crazy right there. I guess it goes to show that along with Hip Hop (or the hip hop circles) there's always been an element of violence that tags along with it and unfortunately it will never change. From the early B-boys(or Hard rocks), to the stick up kids, to the the hustlers and even the straight up hater that gets drunk and stirs $h!t up, Hop hop will always have that dark side to the game.

Peace my dude!!!

RobDoe, The cat who used to mix for Cipher Sounds was Understanding from the southside my man(I know that Understanding is up the way/New York, And, From What i understand, Understanding is still involved in music Too/Producing), I don't know if Understanding is mixing on Hot 97 though),

Robdoe, Jimmy Spicer's from Brooklyn my man(Jimmy Spicer is the first cat from Brooklyn to make a hiphop plate, With the plate,'Super Rhymes', In 1980, Also, King Tim The Third is from Uptown/Harlem my man, My man Markskillz(Wax Poetics Magazine), Is trying to lineup an interview with King Tim as we build my man/LOL, Robdoe, King Tim used to rock the mic in

Between shows for the Fatback Band in 1979/80 with his my man, Also, King Tim rocked the mic on the Dance music show,'Soul Alive', In late 1979(Soul Alive was hosted by Gerry Bledsoe, Who was down with WWRL during the 60's/70's), Robdoe, Now, Run and D(RUN-DMC), Were never on the hiphop circuit in Queens, Like alot of cats think my man(Let me tell it/LOL), The Same goes with LL(Who was not on the hiphop circuit before he started

Making plates, With,'I need a beat', RobDoe, I give Run and D respect for rocking, 'Sucka MC's', In 1983(Which to me, Was their best plate), But, Run and D, Along with LL were never on the hiphop circuit in Queens(Maybe around their respective ways in Hollis and St.Albans,Queens/LOL), But, I never seen any throwdowns featuring Run and D, Or LL(Not even no flyers with those cats names on them before they made plates/LOL), Robdoe, Alot

Of cats came hard at Queens(Brooklyn,Bronx,Uptown/Harlem), Because of the success of Run-DMC and LL(LL Cool J), Not, Because, Cats were jealous, But, Because, Of the souped up attitudes that Run and LL had back when they first started to make plates and step on stages doing shows in New York,

Cats like Mele Mel,KRS-One,Grandmaster Caz,Cowboy/Rip,LA Sunshine,ETC, All felt that Run-DMC should have let America know, That there are mad talented cats(Way more talented than them/LOL), That paved the way for cats like Run-DMC and LL to come off mad hard in regards to stepping on stages my man(WORD), But, Run and LL came out trying to act like they were the best(LL Even proclaimed that he was the baddest rapper in 1986,

Which was the reason why Kool Moe Dee let LL have it with 4 barrells during the 80's to early 90's moneygrip/LOL), RobDoe, I'm not down with that being bias nonsense my man(Just because i'm from Queens, i'm gonna soup cats up from Queens nonsense/LOL), Robdoe, I'm gonna lay it out to you on how it truely was from the gate with Run and D,LL,Etc, My man, Robdoe, During the early to mid 80's, One of the best MC in Queens was Mikey D from

Laurelton,Queens my man(WORD), Mikey D was the cat who let Mele Mel have it with a full clip of rhymes, At The New Music Seminar MC Battle in 1988(Mel Mel was mad heated to the ninth power with his Too/LOL), Robdoe, Cats like Mikey D(Who was not the same MC with Large Professor and Mainsource in the 90's),Kool G.Rap,Craig G,Sweety G,Spyder D,Etc, Were the best MC's in Queens during the 80's my man(Not Run and D nor LL/LOL), Robdoe, Alot of

Cats came under the wing of Paul C/Rip(Legendary Hiphop producer from Queens in the mid to late 80's), Paul C put cats like The Ultramagnetics,Large Professor(Who learned everything that he knows in regards to Producing plates from Paul C),Eric B and Rakim,Organized Konfusion, On mad hard in regards to the production side my man(WORD/LOL), Robdoe, No, I've never read the book,'Queens Reigns Supreme', By Ethan Brown, I lived it my man

(WORD/LOL), Robdoe, I've built about incidents that took place in Queens, Via cats movin weight on this very board, Through the years(Way before the Book,Queens Reigns Supreme', Came out a few years ago/LOL), My man, Much Respect to Ethan Brown though/LOL, At least Ethan Brown had the courage(Along with the complexion for the protection/LOL), Too ask The G for the Dossiers of all of the cats from around the way, Who were movin weight, from 1979 to the early 90's, In regards to Ethan Brown(Who is not from around the way/LOL), Too do the research to write his book(Queens Reigns supreme).

A thousand pardons my dude!!! I stand corrected on Jimmy Spicers upbringing along with King Tim and the Fatback band. I never knew officially but I always assumed they were from Queens. Thanks for clarifying those facts. It's funny what you said about Run DMC and L cause in the beginning mainly around the time when Crush Groove came out they did seem a little arrogant especially Cool J. Yeah Mo D did give it to L. However, on wax ,L did hold his own to the point that many peeps familiar with that battle were divided on who won. I do remember there was slight tensions between the Old school cats Like Melle Mel, Mo D and Run DMC. In the summer of 83 did you see a show called "Graffiti rock" where Mo D and Run DMC had an unofficial battle on the show. I had to give it up to Mo D on that. But the thing about Run DMC that no old school cat can deny is that even if they weren't as talented as their predecessors, they did have a smarter gimmick in being successful that the old school cats could never seem to figure out. And it was so simple... Their dress code!!! As Run DMC grew successful they never took off their Lees, adidas, Lee Jackets and blazers. That along with Russell being the marketing genius he was was Key in Run DMCs success more so than L who also mainteined the dress code. L was crazy arrogant. But at the same time L was nice. Run DMC was talented no doubt. But they really didn't have anything on the Old school crews. But what happen was as Flash and the Furious 5, CC4 and Soul Sonic Force were getting bigger they adopted this whole road warrior, punk look where they were starting to cater to fans overseas and alienated themselves from the hoods here in the states. That's where Run DMC took over. And since most cities were far behind NY as far as street fashion in this whole hip hop movement Run DMC rebelled in that aspect. To this day you got hip hop fans who swear that RunDMC were the ones who started Lee jeans and shelltoes bringing that look to the hip hop table. They don't understand that that was a standard b-boy look that dates back to Kool Herc doing parties on Sedwick ave. Run DMC just made it a hip hop uniform. And that's one of the things I can understand old school dudes wanting to go at Run DMC. But at the same time it's there own faults. When was rocking spike belts and all that punk $h!t ever fly in the hood?

And yes I did hear about when Mel lost to MC Mikey D in the new music seminar mc battle. LOL... i guess Mel was pissed cause he thought the judges would just give him the victory since he was more well known along with the fact that he won in 87. Rumer had it that Mikey D brought it to Mel real good.

LOL...BTW even if you were out there among all the ill $h!t jumpin off in Queens, I still recomend you read "Queens Reigns Supreme". You might find some discrepancies in the book where you know what really went down. But besides that, it's a damn good read my dude... I particularly liked where they went behind the 2pac shooting at Quad studios in terms of who was behind the shooting. I heard Ethal Brown got alot of his info from Fat Cat himself along with Curtis Scoon. Check it out if you get a chance....

RobDoe, If i remember correctly, The Fatback Band's from Queens my man(King Tim is from Uptown/Harlem), If i remember correclty, Kim Tim is from the Polo Grounds Projects area uptown/Harlem(On 155thst and 8thave, Across from The Rucker/Rucker Basketball Tournament or Entertainer's League/LOL),

Robdoe, In regards to LL vs Kool Moe Dee/LOL, Robedoe, Ask anyone you know, Who feel that LL won the battle on wax(Because LL most definitely knows the time live, In regards to battling Kool Moe Dee(Word/LOL), What plate did offically give LL the status as the winner of the battle between LL vs Kool Moe Dee/LOL, Robdoe, Hopefully, Cats will not say ,'Mama Said Knock you out',(LOL), Robdoe, Kool Moe Dee had a plate called,'Death Blow', In

1992, That offically, Ended the Kool Moe Dee vs LL battle to the ninth power my man(LL could not step on another stage after,'Death Blow', By Kool Moe Dee my man/LOL), The Plate,'Death Blow,', Had a mad funny video of a cat that looked like LL(Complete with hoodee too/LOL), Battling Kool Moe Dee in the ring boxing/LOL, Kool Moe Dee lets LL have it with a full clip of rhymes starting with the letter L(Like, Kool Moe Dee did in 1987, With the plate,'Let's Go', That did not get NO AIRPLAY IN NEW YORK/LOL), While Kool Moe Dee is

Letting LL have it rhyming using the Letter L in his rhymes, Kool Moe Dee is knocking out LL with every rhyme(Until the cat portraying LL falls to the ground, Never to get back up again/LOL), Also, Robdoe, in 1992, Arsenio Hall wanted to Bring LL onto his(Arsenio Hall), Show, In regards to battling Kool Moe Dee on the mic/LOL, But, LL cop a plea, And, Asked Arsenio Hall to put a boxing ring on stage, Rather than battle Kool Moe Dee rhyming(That's LL for you my man/LOL), Robdoe, I have the Arsenio Hall show on tape, When he

(Arsenio Hall), Mentioned that he wanted to bring LL on his show to battle Kool Moe Dee(Who was a guest on Arsenio Hall's show that night when Arsenio Hall said this), LL was on the Arsenio Hall show the week before Kool Moe Dee, Also, I've heard that Kool Moe Dee stepped to LL a number of times in the late 80's to early 90's, In regards to battling live(7minutes an MC, Like cats used to do in the 70's/80's in New York/LOL), But, LL copped a plea

Each time(Why is that', By KRS-One/LOL), Robdoe, Yes, I've seen Griffiti Rock in 1983 my man/LOL, On the low, Jam Master J, Mentioned to Kool Moe Dee and Special K(La Sunshine was not allowed to participate in the so-called battle between The Treacherous 3 vs RUN and D, Because, Sylvia Robinson cancelled La Sunshine from the Treacherous 3 at that time in 1983, In regards to La Sunshine being a PROBELM/LOL), Well, J(Jam Master J),

Mentioned to Kool Moe Dee and Special K, Too take it easy on us(RUN-DMC), Because, RUN-DMC most definitetly knew the time when it came to The Treacherous 3 battling cats lyrically(WORD/LOL), Robdoe, That's why in the show Graffiti Rock, Kool Moe Dee and Special K9Who is one of the most underrated MC's of alltime to me, Along with his brother T-LA-Rock), Did not go hard lyrically against Run and D, Because, If Kool Moe Dee and Special K would have went hard at RUN and D, The Kool Moe Dee and Special K would have Demo'd Run and D, And, Run and D knew it(As well as the Producers of Griffiti Rock too/LOL), Robdoe, In regards to fashions relating to hiphop and

Run-DMC, Well, I feel cats like The Treacherous 3,Furious 5,Funky 4,SoulSonic Force,Coldcrush 4,Crashcrew,Etc, Had evolved musically, In reagards to performing for a wider broader audience(Commerical to the ninth power/LOL), But, When cats started to make plates in 1979, The hiphop circuit switched from rocking in the parks and spots around the way, Too, Going in the studio to make plates(Which was the end of hiphop too me),

Robdoe, I've always felt that hiphop was at it's peak from 1974 to 1979(Without a doubt my man), Those were the years, Were cats rocking throwdowns for the community, Opposed to making plates for notoriety and bricks(Which cats were not ready for, In regards to knowledge of the music business), Also, If the Furious 5 did not break up(Because of Slyvia Robinson in 1982), RUn-DMC would not have come off like they did in the 80's my man(WORD/LOL), The same with LL(In regards to the Furious 5 breaking up and making it easier for a lot of other cats to come off, As long as cats had the

Right managment to run a cats career, Like Russell Simmons/LOL), Robdoe, As far as who were the cats that were down with Tupac getting wetup at Quad Studio's(Around 43rdst and Broadway), Well, Puffy,Biggie,LiL Casaer,Andre Harell, tupac's man Stretch from Queens(Who was later cancelled by cats un-known a few years after Tupac was wetup in Quad Studio's elevator's in the early 90''s,/LOL, Now, I also heard that Biggie had Tupac step up to get wetup by some stickup kids from Brooklyn too/LOL, But, I do know that

Puffy,Lil Cas,Biggie,Andre Harrell, Were in Quad studio that night(around midnight too), When Tupac, His man Stretch from Queens, And, Another cat(Who's name i cannot remember right about now/LOL), Came in Quad Studio's shortly after midnight(Puffy,Andre Harrell,Biggie,LiL Cas, All knew that Tupac was coming to Quad Studio to/LOL), The cats that shot Tupac, Did not Shoot anyone else in the lobby(Tupac was with 2 other cats, And, Tupac gets clipped/LOL), Robdoe, Mikey D is one of the best battle MC's of alltime too me my man(Kool Moe Dee is the best battle MC of alltime to me), Mikey D is right up there with Kool Moe Dee,Craig G,Super Natural,Kool

G.Rap,Grandmaster Caz,King Sun(6'8 King Sun from New Jersey that is/LOL),Sweety G(From Queens),Etc, Robdoe, I've always had the utmost fo respect for Mele Mel(Who is one of my alltime favorite MC's, Along with Kool Moe Dee,Hollywood,Caz,Lovebug Starski,Eddie Chebba,Special K,Tito(Fearless 4),Rayvon(Magnificent 7 from uptown/Harlem)Etc, But, Mele Mel is not built for battling, Elite, Cerebral and analytical rhyming cats my man/LOL, But, We both know, What kind of work Mele Mel will put in, In regards to rocking a spot allnight, To the morning lite moneygrip(WORD/LOL).
