Maybe everyone was too tired from Friday's DHP party and Saturday's Shelter. They need the rest to function at work on Monday.

actually, Kerri won't be playing this year as he's travelling. He may be closer to you after all... I'll see if I can find out where he's gonna be for ya.

he started off with some salsoul re-edits dr love etc played through his laptop
stephanie cooke rain, shaun e. days like this & space rider back to back, o'jays i love music,and lots more (my heads a bit hazy from the flight)
It wasn't that busy but the people that where there kept it going. a nice crowd and venue made it a good night

Could you explain a little more about how he used the laptop? When he was in DC he had a screen up and a remote control and all kinds of gadgets. PCDJ .. Was it so this time? I'm not quite sure how he uses the laptop .. so if you know could you elaborate. smile.gif

I am not sure what set up he was using
It didn't look like pcdj to me no seperate gadgets this time. I hear he has a remote sensor that enables him to walk around the club while playing Just got a laptop myself and need to work the whole thing out anyone got any ideas

PCDJ is quite impressive. I think that the Home version is about $30 and if you already own a laptop and can not afford a proper cd player well it's a pretty good solution. The controls are dead easy to use and it pretty much behaves like a cd player (cue points, loops and so on...)

I am a hardcore fan of Vinyl and I must admit that at first I thought it would be a complete nightmare to use but it's really not! It's very handy to play the tracks you never managed to get hold of on vinyl.

You can buy a hardware interface for it which is pretty much like a cd player front and then use the laptop+interface just like a real cd player. I think it's a bit pricey though so you may as well buy a real cd player.

I think that Kerri's designed is own hardware interface for it and he uses it to play classics as well as his own edits and some of his productions to come I believe.
