The kids need education
And the streets are never clean
I've seen a certain disposition, prevailing in the wind,
Sweet change if anybody's listening?
Emergency on Planet Earth
Is that life that I am witnessing
Or just another wasted birth

We got emergency
Emergency on Planet Earth

Think we're standing for injustice
White gets two and black gets five years,
Took me quite a while to suss this,
But now I know my head is cleared
And a little boy in hungry land, is just a picture in the news,
Change shoes
Won't see him in the TV advertising,
Cause it might put you off your food

We got emergency
Emergency on Planet Earth

This album changed my life.

It officially served as my personal disconnection from the matrix. It also served as affirmation of what I suspected all along; that the general public and everything to which it subscribes does, in fact, suck. The BIG one. It showed me that there are people out there that still know what music is and they aren't afraid to release an album, proudly showcasing: Actual Music/Songs.

What a novel idea.

On some levels, this album made it impossible for me to write and produce songs for several years. It showed me that I was just writing songs to get a deal and not writing songs for the sake of giving the world another nice song.
I bought my copy of "Emergency on Planet Earth" in August of '93, when it was released. The case is cracked and falling off, but not to many weeks go by that I don't listen to some of those songs.

Big up ... Uplift!
Hope you are well.

I feel you on Jamiroquai. I started to get down with them during my stint in undergrad. Sometimes it feels like Jay Kay is sync(ed) with my frontal lobe.

Virtual Insanity was my jiz-oint as well.

In my move to the other part of the 3-eyed fish pond, my Jamiroquai cd(s) took a beating, so I'm currently looking to replace them. Plus, buy some lost items on vinyl.

There are so many more artist (new and old) who are awe - inspiring... it is a beautiful thing when you can feel something totally intangible deep within your heart; because so many of us in this world (ie.. the masses suck arses) keep thinking that we can only feel with our extremities....

One Love,
Efab
