What can I say? I am a political junkie.....
As it stands right now, Hillary may have accomplished what she wanted to do. She does not care if Edwards wins....she can stomp him in New Hampshire. Plus Edwards does not have to funds to follow up a victory in Iowa.
If Obama wins, he gets a lot of momentum...bad news for Hillary. Very interesting so far.

I think the history of the Iowa primary as it relates to the general election might go out the door. Given the historic turnout and number of independents that are voting Democrat. 230,000 people turned out today. 89% growth over the last primary. In no small part due to the energy that Obama has injected into race.

Stats are ok but this is different. No matter how people try to skirt around the issue, it still comes down to race. A black man winning in a majority white state. I now believe anything is possible. Go back to any of those years mentioned and a black person stood no chance of making it on the board let lone getting a delegate to nominate them. Today is a new day in American history and the Iowans are to be commended for picking the best candidate and not making race a handicap. Iowans get a
