Registered, and I have voted in every election for the past 13 years (primary, full, judges, fraternity, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars...)

Been registered for years. Coming from a politically connected family, my mom & dad didn't play that "I ain't registering to vote..."

you and me both. always active politically. it is a PARTICIPATORY democracy...and quiet as it's kept, the entire project of free public education started as a drive to be sure there was an informed electorate...I think we often forget that in the drive to produce workers...they need to be well rounded in history and civics, school is very very political.

That was the first thing I did when I turned 18,
and have been voting ever since.

No! You should have a voters registration card. Candidates can get your name from other sources such as labor unions to send you literature.

the missus and i are both registered and we both vote. i've voted in every election since i have been registered (18 years old).

i was born in georgia and wouldn't mind voting this year

You can register in the state where your drivers license and/or id card were issued. If you are going to be in a different place from where you are registered, then ask for an absentee ballot. Also, go back to the state where you were born and register, only problem is you need to have an address there.
