I was wondering whether Arcade Records still exists and, if so, if Jonathan Woodliffe is still there. Trying to get in touch with him, but the number I have is out of service and directory enquiries are saying the shop doesn't exist.

hi there,

I used to shop a lot at Arcade records (at least think it was Arcade - the basement dance shop underneath a chain with no name regular indie shop, past the cinema up from the Market Square).

Can remember being quite shocked a couple of years ago to find the shop and others on that street completely demolished. Used to be the cheapest place for US imports in Notts..
