I have to confess that there was this guy who my wife liked pretty much and I had to stop them before she could cheat on me.
He had about 500 records inherited from a closed discoteka. I stole him candido's 1000 fingers man, 2 or 3 chic albums, Midnight Express soundtrack, machine's machine and some Kasso and other stuff.
He didn't knew the value of these items and he was trying to steal my wife... He was stolen and didn't get my wife at the end.
I also stole 5 Cerrones to a bastard who stole me about 30 records.
Did you ever steal some records ?

stealing from another DJ = the ultimate bad karma

I'm sure I did at some point either purposely or by accident.
But I have been GANKED before for a few of my cuts.
It's the reason why I don't let anyone into the "Batcave" unless I am 100% sure they won't steal my shit.

I keep finding out about karma. It's no joke.If you steal something, something way more valuable will be taken from you.Don't do it....

no never but i got sold a pair of tables and a mixer that had been stolen from a dude.
the thief asked me if i wanted to buy them and i said i felt sorry for the dude that had gotten them stolen so i wasnt sure.
i asked the thief if he would give the guy his tables back if i didnt buy them and he said no.i also aked him if he would sell them to someone else and he said he never new anyone who would buy them and he couldnt advertise them cos he stole them.
basically said he was gonna dump them in the woods or throw them of an old bridge and dump them.
what would you have done??
bought them then gave them back to the guy who owned them purely out of gesture?
or
kept them?

graemlins/conf44.gif promoting burglary from normal people that work to live.
Battering him and stealing the desks of him
or
Let him dump them (like that was really what he was gonna do)
Supply and demand, simple concept.

Stealing is wrong though. Don't do it.
I've never stolen, but I've had stuff taken in the past, a few of which I was able to recover. That's why my lab stays PRIVATE.....JMJ

and he stole them of a so called friend of his.
i felt pretty bad but hey fuik it lol.
he also told me the guy he stole them from was a trance head and all he done was lock himself in his room playing hard trance and taking pills and weed.
the way i looked at it was he was maybe better of without them. smile.gif

I stole records from a chain stores plenty of times when I was younger. **** HMV ! This is false.
Stealing from a record store means less revenue, which could very easily mean lay-offs for employees, or the entire store going out of business, which means everyone's out of a job.
The money has to come from somewhere, and there are inevitably repercussions on some level, be they higher theft insurance rates or whatever.
Not victimless in any, way, shape, or form.
Besides, it's basic ethics.

Don't leave town Mr. Kent."
I used to be a buyer in a used record store and had ALOT of people calling in, emailing, and faxing me about their records being stolen.
If any of you get your records stolen immediately call every damn used record store you can think of with a list of what you think was stolen. You'd be surprised how often I was able to return one's collection back to the owner at a very cheap price.

I know I have left myself with the absolute minimum amount of cash to live on because I bought some records.
Most of us have.
Knowing this I could not steal a record from anyone.
Someones Girl though, thats different... :D

(edited for horrendous spelling) </font>[/QUOTE]HMV are owned by Thorn EMI, do you think that if no one stole records and their insurance went down they would lower prices, would they bollox.
Stores sell this idea that customers pay higher prices due to theft, rubbish ! if theft stopped tomorrow you wouldn't see any drop in price in the future, don't believe the hype. besides this , my local HMV has listening stations and due to the DJ culture being so popular with the young kids who don't handle vinyl properly, all the vinyl - " ALL " vinyl is scrathced to bits or marked with greasy spots. So HMV are ruining vinyl and they don't care. According to them they are on sale or return basis anyway. Also, they promote commerciality and faceless careless assistance on virtually all customer related matters.
**** HMV ! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDANT RETAILER.
I'm with UR 100% on that ! ;)
I've never stolen records and I never will. I think what you should really be focusing in on is: A) your insecurities about your wife and your relationship with her or B) your wife and her loyalty and faithfulness to you.

Is your relationship with her healthy?

Don't do to others what you you wouldn't want others to do to you, hey??? :D Frankly, I am sure you'd be extra pissed off if someone helped themselves to your precious records!
**** HMV ! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDANT RETAILER.I am OK with supporting my local retailers, however sometimes the mark-up on some pieces of plastic appears to be quite ridiculous graemlins/stupid.gif graemlins/cussing.gif !!! And if someone offers a better deal well I am generally happy to take it!
What does a £10 note get you these days? Not very much that's right!

When the record store was on south Michigan avenue street (I think loop records) my boy felt daring one day and stole a sweet pussy poline record. He stuck it in his jacket and you saw a big square imprint in his jacket but he walked right out. They had to see him
