On my website "Spirit of House" I'm bringing new music to the peeps on a weekly base.
Now that I had some time I finally managed to do some classic mixes including the one I posted this weekend.
Tracklist "Classic Grooves 6":
Fatback featuring Gerry Bledsoe "Is this the future"
Jocelyn Brown "Love's gonna get you"
BB & Q "(I'm a) dreamer"
Aurra "You and me tonight"
Kelly Charles "You're no good for me"
Sybil "My love is guaranteed"
Modern-Nique featuring Larry Woo "Love's gonna get you"
Roland Clark "Why"
Northend featuring Michelle Wallace "Happy Days"
Central Line "Walking into sunshine"
TC Curtis "You should have known better"
Steve Harvey "Tonight"
You can check out the mix on the "Classic Mixes" page at http://www.spiritofhouse.com
More mixes will follow over the coming weeks and month.

kelvy, I'm not sure if Steve Harvey did produce Total Controst. I got some Total Contrast 12" so I can check if I see his name on them.

Nice mix Michael! You played one of my favorite joints from the 80's "You and Me Tonight." Hey isn't that by Deja? I remember that the female singer was from the Aurra.

Aurra eventually renamed themselves Deja around 1985 when "Like I Like It" was making its rounds.....during that time, there was a struggle in regards to the ownership of the name "Aurra" between the duo (Curt Jones & Starleana Young) and another person whom i forgot but probably has ties to the group Slave (which was a quite loosely-knit spinoff from them as well as Young and Company to a certain degree)...
that "you and me tonight" is a classy dancefloor joint...very sparkling :D
and thanks Mr. Fossatti for looking up the data on those Total Contrast records....
