run an RCA out of your computer's headphone jack, in to whatever recording device you have (?)

Soundforge is a software option. With soundforge, have it recording, start the youtube item, and once it's done, save the wave file. If you want it on CD, convert it to mp3 (something that the burner software should do anyway) and you are in the mix.

you don't have to convert it to mp3 to burn it.
actually, why would you even think of doing that when you already have a wav. file which is by far the better sounding format?

Leonard, maybe you should check your 'preferences' in Soundforge cause Methoxy is right about this.
Soundforge is indeed a good option like many other but they will cost you.
Ofcourse there are cracked versions, but I'm not really happy with them, in my scenario there was always something wrong with it.

why would you need to convert a wave file to mp3 to burn onto a cd!?

Dunno...
I think he means 16bit 44.1Khz, cause that's best for a cd , If you use higher rates it will be mirrored back into your sound,
is called 'aliasing'
