Darand Landlets not forget about the man himself chris brann, who has many monikers that you should probably look into for that sound.
one of atlanta's finest producers!
you can also check out kemit's releases, and i think kai alce has done a few. don't sleep on earthtone soundsystem. they're gonna be launching their label in a few months. these cats have been paying their dues longer than the biggest "dance-music" promoter in ATL.
we all know that its really a bad time to try to start a label, but these guys are solid. the most admirable thing about them is that they're not in any kind of rush to become this popular collective of house djs. but i'm sure they've had the opportunities to become so in the past.
they are just who they are..

of late, i have grown such a newfound respect for the earthtone guys, especially keiran. yet i've only heard the earthtone djs play out like 3 times this year.
kara knows wussup graemlins/grinyes.gif ...
hoochie productions knows wussup graemlins/grinyes.gif ...
anyone who has ever attended an earthtone party at piedmont park definitely knows wussup graemlins/grinyes.gif ...

Of course Chris Brann is included when I speak of the Wamdue Kids who are also known as the Wamdue Project: Chris Brann
Deep C
Chris Udoh
I love Chris Brann's music too, although I was never a big fan of his P'Taah projects, even though I still bought/buy them just because I appreciate the man's music, in general.
Oh yeah, can't forget Sweet Abraham....

(translation)....
Who shelves it = what record stores might have his music in stock....
Yea-yeah, thanks for all the info. I am well aware that he records as Ananda Project, Wamdue Projeckt, P'Taah and host of other alliases (ms, my bad). Yet this is the sound that hits my ear in the right spot. I appreciate the other suggestions too. (His P'Taah material doesnt grab me as much, but all else is typcially on fire!)
I heard a track by Darrand Land and thought my goodness, if I droped that I might have a heart attack!.....Fortunate for me I heard it as a stream over the computer.
Ronin & Earthtonesounds.....hmmmm, never heard of either but will keep a watch out.
Big up yall!

Speaking of Wamdue, if anyone can hook me up with a copy of Naked Music NYC: It's Love (Wamdue Remix), please PM me. I do believe their version was NOT available on the commercial release and was a promo only.

Hk, the "Deep Dreams E.P." on Acacia (Kelli Hand's Detroit-based label) is required listening if you're into the Wamdue Kids. It dates back to 1993 or so, but should be moderately easy to find used still.

I believe Deep C is a board member actually...
As for Chris Brann, he's got productions under the monikers P'Taah, Santal, Ananda Project, Wamdue Project and of course Chris Brann. I think I got all of them graemlins/conf44.gif
