love 'em. I sear mine on the stove for about a minute on each side and then finish them in the oven.

BINGO, or just broil them in the oven. (Gotta have the bone in em though, more flavor)
Pork chops are great on the grill too. Also, talk about good.....country ribs; they're meaty!!

I just made Country Ribs this past Sunday. Slow cooked them boys for 9 hours.....OMG! Moms told me I need to open a resturant.

No, you can grill them, bake them, or broil them, but when you slow cook them, the meat just falls off the bone and melts in your mouth!

1. fried HARD w/ french fries (fried HARD) & cole slaw
2. smothered w/rice & greens/green beans & cornbread
3. baked or broiled w that german/bavarian sauerkraut

keep them chops moist!!! no point in eating a dried out pork chop. and undercook pork is very dangerous.

I have been cooking the smothered pork chops recipe from Sylvia's Soul food cookbook for years. Lots of good stuff in that book.

Got a wonderful West African recipe made with tomatoes, onions, garlic and habeneros . . . it's a bomb!!
