It's an edit of 'Key West' by Kasso, from the Delerium lp, and it's a f**king amazing track! Not sure if there's a 12"...peace, domo

Also from the same mix, the Kellee Patterson tune "So in Tune With You" (~42/43 minutes in); is what's being played the lyrics after the break or is this a totally different version (12")?? I can't quite remember, but I know it's definitely not the beginning of the song, at least on the LP. Haven't heard it in a while. Thanks in advance!

Lyot, you should be able to find it out there. It was re-issued on Ramshorn Records in the early 80's.I meant to say the lp was re-issued.The lp also has One more round, one of my fav's.I used to see the remix of Key west around a lot.Lemme check into it for ya.You may also want to check Dancetracks. The Key remix extends the hell outta the song. It's a short tune on the lp.

This is what the lp looks like: http://www.goblin.org/pics/kasso.gif

Tracklisting:
Side One
1. Walkman
2. One More Round
3. Kasso
4. On the Sea

Side Two
1. Brazilian Dancer
2. Hot Night
3. Key West
4. I Wanna Know
Release Year: 1981

Label(s): Banana Record LP

Was there an official 12" release for Key West, or is it only available on LP?

Easy Simon,

Aha one record you don't have of yet even though I bet you have one now ha ha..

Yeah Jamie's is on point the 12" was on Delirium rec with a re-edit by Jellybean . I got one about 6 years ago in NJ from a friend . It struck me because it was so bad as everyone agrees also did not Lenny Dee sample it for one of his late 80's productions at least the intro ? . And was this a big Ronnie record as well ? . That's great to hear as well .

Peace Alex . ;)

magic_juan The price it's at right now isn't bad if the record is an original. I've seen that original album go for as much as $175.

SP The original 12" is on delirium. The best place to look for it is in New York or over sea's the album break is not as long. It's just an edit.

The one I found has a red label with black letters and is on the Delirium label. Got it for $9. 'Key West' is off the hook! Hold on to that LP.
