Yep...Confusing first time coming across this and nearly took record back to the shop...lol

I've got an Eddie Amador tune and a techno tune that both play like that, but can't remember the name of either at this time...

no cover. just a white label with a stamp on it in a white paper sleeve.

the stamp says:
A1) Always there
A2) Give it to me

B1) For us all < this the one that plays from the inside out..

Whats the title of the one with the streetfighter guy on the cover?

I few of the old Detroit techno eps were cut like this. Even weirder were ones where the first track ran forward and the 2nd track ran backwards.

A lot of them joints were mastered and cut by Ron Murphy @ National Sound Corporation in Detroit. Omar is from Detroit so look at the record. You might see the encrytion NSC. Don't know if NSC is still around or not. I know a few folks that got their stuff mastered thru Ron and they were always happy with the results. The guy has been around for years.

first one i remember that was similar was pop muzik by m. there was an import with two tracks on one side. one track played the 1st & 3rd grooves the other played the 2nd and 4th grooves. if your record skipped there was a chance the needle would land on the other track. it played normally from beginning to end.

I remember in high school hearing about Ron Murphy. I was told that he was one of few that had the machine to cut records in reverse. I don't know how true it was, but during that time 86-90, NSC were the only ones I can recall doing this.

I still bug out on the record I played were the 1st track played forward but the 2nd played backwards. Lol. There was a nice clean space between the two tracks, kinda like how it looks at the end of the records. Anyway I'm picking the needle up to place on the 2nd track and it keeps running to the begining. I must have spent 2 minutes buggin before I figured it out.

Back to Ron. Friends told me he was a genious. I've heard records that folks had mastered from tape and the joints sound sick.

Couldn't say more, and if you can drop some knowledge Armen (sick mental tracks), I would be more than thankfull, I got into electronic music by KMS and Derrick May, Robert Hood being 3rd step. I liked the hypnotic beats of this sound and the strong bass.
Have you listenned yet to KMS mix on the DHP mixes section?

Then there were the Rick Wade's, Octave One, Solid Gold Playaz, it did took me a lot of time to get some tracks off Parrish and Moodyman productions not my trip.

Classics, please dig deeper, some old or rare releases maybe?
I remember UR (Underground Resistance): the Acid Rain series, some pretty off reality tunes in them, I also liked a lot the Mad Mike and Drecxyia Bside tracks, awesome sounds and ryhtm production!

I met Jeff Mills in a record shop in Brussels last year, he was so gentle and cool. We talked about music of course and he was looking like the guy who knew nothing at all, and needed to be educated. He didn't know a lot of labels and tracks IDs, he was so happy to get more than he already knew!
