No, Saturn is the original label out of LA where Captain Rapp comes from. It was licensed to Beckett on the east coast later. I also have it one of those NY bootlegs along with Love Money. I played the Kimberly Ball vocal side of Bad Times recently (she goes off on this cut) and got a good reaction. The Rap vocal side is not too good IMO. Huge slab of electro dance here. Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis production.

Prince HiFi Yeah, I have the same NY Boot that you do...I've seen the Saturn release alot, being that I'm in LA, but it's always beat up so I'm just waiting for a clean copy...I hate it when people don't take care of their records graemlins/cussing.gif

That Beckett pressing is kind of, um, mushy? The treble is really fuzzy, but I don't have a bootleg, it's the old Beckett pressing.

The Saturn pressing itself is a bit thin in the bass like a lot of 80s records sound today... the bootleg sounds the best - full, balanced, relatively clean and mastered loud.

It also came out in France in the 80s, saw a copy on Ebay a few weeks ago. That's a lot of pressings for a fairly minor underground hit.
