John Acquaviva - Final Junkie
Session held London 2002
Like most DJs, Canadian Disco don John Acquaviva is a vinyl junkie. But Acquaviva - who was born in Italy and also collects fine wines - has found a way to keep his a 50,000+ collection unplayed and mint. "I've got one particular Disco 12" that I hate playing in clubs. I hate the thought of scratching it" he says, explaining how Final Scratch allows you to transport records electronically. The best thing about it? "It keeps the turntable as controller."

Consider going FINAL SCRATCH... still spin vinyl

I think George Bates has one, ask him about it, i'm gonna buy one when I come over to the states in March, alot cheaper than here in the UK. I also watched Kerri Chandler use it and to be honest you would never have noticed the difference, very nice piece of equipment, thing is you really need to buy a laptop too if you playing out.

to be honest i am still waiting for Native Instruments to iron out the problems with the FS time-code reading, and Stanton producing a more pro version of the FS hardware box.... right now as it is it's a little to buggy for me (both hard and software) ....

So i take it with the bugs and stuff there's quite a good chance it could crash in mid-set? if so, is there any back up for when this happens?

The only problem I had was this- when you had a song that was not loaded in on CD and you used iTunes to bring it in it froze up.
Other than that it was ok .........
