I dont quite understand getting upset when its not about you ...but it seems to be heartfelt.

Im gonna be blunt... If you are not going to address the person or persons with how you really feel then all of this is for naught.

Imma tell you this... Bmore's nitelife is on the upswing and its not including half azz efforts, half azz venues, nor half azz djs.

The pot is stirring with activity, excitement, VENUES are popping up who want our music... and our money.

So u can choose to enjoy yourself at EVENTS that people taken their hard earned $$, time and effort (which you have done as well) to do a successful event or get sidelined by listening to disgruntle people.

which imo is wasted NRG.

so again .... if you are not going to confront the peeps directly and get it off your chest. leave it alone, dont entertain the bs and go to what is available to you and have a good got dayum time.

What went down at Mosaic was to be absolutely expected. Underground music at the most gentrified/whitewashed "location" in Baltimore? I saw that all coming from the first time I went there for Kevin Hedge and was blown away something like that was even going on at a venue like that. My friend is the person who personally books all of the major shows at Rams Head. She hates the crowd, yet loves it at the same time because she knows she can pack it everytime she throws any worthwhile, known act on the bill.

JRags, I understand that you are talking about threads and the such, but the BS isn't limited to one local. Since starting the SWEAT events and becoming more than just the DJ, so much BS has surfaced. WOW, I never knew so many grown folks had so much time for BS. But after talking with folks in NYC, Detroit and the Chi I find out it's happening all over, again, WOW. As Kelli stated, and I love her to death, unless you approach these fools it does no good to vent. And actually, even if you say a word to these idiots it probably will not register or make a difference. People are people and some are just really fugged up to the point that BS is their way of life, each and every day, they know no other way. Sad but true.

And btw, if I didn't say it before, I'll say it now, thanks to you and everyone that showed so much love when I attened the very 1st Collective Minds picnic.
