Just a quick heads up to any UK peeps - if you havent ever checked out a night called Scuba in Sheffield you need to - it kicks ass!
Having been away from Sheffield for a while, we went back on a whim and what a pleasure to find Danny Wang playing as a suprise guest.. following on from chris duckenfield and the idjut boys he just rocked the *hit out of the place with some deep disco sounds. and judging by the generally young and funky crowd getting down to these sounds, there is certainly a future for 'deep house' music in the UK.. he even played a wicked dubby remix of justin timberlake which helped keep the girls on the floor but was great in its own right! altogether a wicked night, as scuba always is, well imo a club with chris duckenfield as resident is always going to be a safe bet - one of the few technically amazing but-still-capable-of-playing-a-varied-set djs we've got in the uk, certainly in the house world anyway
RESPECT!
