Man I have a lot of work to do. I just read the syllabi of my two classes, and there is a lot of work. Plus, I'm trying to find another part-time job to pay for expenses.
Oh well, this is what I choose to do for at least the next two years. :)

Kudos!! Welcome to the club.
The club of no extra money, no extra time, 2am study sessions, work at 8am, conference calls with classmates at lunch, no more friday and saturday nights because you are either studying or sleeping.. The club of your wife / girlfriend / kids / family being mad because you are always busy or tired..
If you can get through it (and I am sure you can), in the end, though.. its ALL worth it!!
:) Graduation for me is May 18th at 10:00am. !! :D
Cat told me before I went years back, that Grad school was NOTHING compared to undergrad and it was basically a "cakewalk"... HE LIED!!!! :madani: that shit was hard as hell but well worth it.. good luck

Grad school is no joke. Preparing for Grad school is even hard. I have been taking undergrad courses to beef up my application and juggling work and school is difficult. I fear what grad school will be like...:shudder:
But I'm looking forward to it.

Congrats Myron.
I think a two class load on top of a job is a busy enough schedule. Just get it done, slowly if, but get it done.

Congratulations on your graduation.
I'm pretty much done with the late-night partying for now. No time and frankly, it's not that important. I don't have any signifcant others or kids so at least I won't be in "the club of your wife / girlfriend / kids / family being mad" club.
I'm going to Queens Collegel for Library Science, with the goal of becoming a public librarian (although that goal might change depending on whether something else in the field catches my interest).
I did a lot of running around last week to get things in order for school and classes haven't even started yet. Maybe things will calm down once classes start (yeah right ).

Graduate work is the best thing one could do! Props's to you! Some suggestions and thoughts.....
1) Stay on top of your work!
2) Use your classmates and professors as an important knowledge and networking resouce!
3) Understand that in grad school, you will have to put all that theory you learn to practice! And you will, in some way, have to defend your work!

I keep telling myself I must have had absurdly high standards as an undergraduate. There is also coming to terms with the fact that you are not a worldly, esperienced and mature individual, but just another sad grad who is almost drooling.
Good luck Myron. When I was combining studying with working, it made a world of difference to get half an hour or an hour between work and seminars just to relax and get my head clear.

wow congrats on your starting grad school. I'm anxiously awaiting word from the 4 schools I've applied to now. Ive tried w other years to go to grad school but only applied to one school easy those times. I really gotta go on to higher education cause im getting stuck here. Its exciting to think of the opportunities that that open up to you once you finish. good luck!

That is some good advice. I'm definitely going to follow it.I'm sure there's plenty of undergrads and grads to keep my neck busy. :)
