Im seriously buggin off some of these threads...in doin that I started to think about some of the funny and crazy moments on dhp (even goin back to the green board)

What are some crazy DHP moments on here that you can remeber??

NOTE: This thread is NOT to be a diss thread...if your name is brought up, dont take it as a diss.....just laugh and keep on going.

I never clamed to invent the music but the term is mine.

Alot of people thought it came from the club The Warehouse (which was really only the nickname of US Studio due to the clubs location...in the warehouse district) according to an interview of Robert Williams (Owner of US Studio & The Music Box) recorded live & played on DHP.

Two years ago I came out of nowhere to DHP and boy oh boy did words jump off.

Watching Chicago DJ's look at Frankie in awe when he is at a Chicago event is common - seeing these same Chicago DJ's that had the nerve to speak bad of me, watch Frankie & I joking around like 11 year-olds when we are at the same Chicago event is priceless in my book .

I can be called many things including a lie but, I have yet to be proven a lie and - I am one of the most "In someone corner DJ" that some people know.

It was all about the music with me and not the DJ ego or status. DJ ego etc is what killed things with a couple of DJ's I met via DHP. How does G-Man say it, "I just run a website". As for myself, I just happen to come up with a gimmic that caught on.

I don't have or know of every song played within our scene but, I have a great portion of the good ones. That is what is important to me - having the good ones.

I have never been a "I bet you don't have this record - it is so rare that...blah blah blah" type of DJ. The "My crate is deeper than yours" DJ's pop up with all kind of music drama every chance they get. I guess that is how one recieve attention when all else fails?

Jere is still around just producing music and writing songs for his band Mr. Ali. He told me he had to get off the board because it was becoming very addictive and taking to much time. The boy did add some great insight on the early Chicago scene.

i don't know if this was the "best" moment, but it was definitely the start of a trend...tac started a thread about his woman's hair style and how it was jacked though he paid for it...this was the start of personal threads...up to then, there were hardly any threads about relationships, sex, folks' mental incapabilities, etc.
