I went out to Martroy's in Homewood(Illinois) to pick up a new amp(I hate going cuz I always see something I can't afford).
They demoed the MTL-1X for me. He cranked it up and the sound pounded my chest(ooooh it feel good). I stood about 75feet away and it felt just as strong as when I was just in front of the cabinet! He had a Crown Macro Tech 2400 driving them- only at 1/2 power....
all I know now is I want 'em........

Martroys!?

Man you just brought back some memories with the mention of that name. Is this the Martroys located on 63rd? Before heading over to Marquette park to play some football, we would go into Martroys and just drool at all the goodies. What's the price on the subs?

They lost a sale and I was given another example of "if it sound to good to be true - it is" mad1.gif
