TSOP. Check my podcast in my sig for a Philly mix. They were in the game much longer and had a variety of music. While SalSoul concentrated on mostly disco. So when disco was over, so was SalSoul. On another note many of the musicians recorded for both labels.

Shortly after that-for other reasons- so was PI.
A better debate question would be which Philly International era was best, BHY or Dexter wansel?
yeah come to think of it the very very last record i saw ( and bought ) on PI was a slow jam called "Get enough love".......that was in 1984 or 1985..and to see a PI record at that time was a rare thing..it might have been the last release .
the last salsoul release i saw in 83.....
