I had posted this last week, but seems no one here is into car sounds or maybe the post got lost in the mire ... so here I go again ....

Basically, I am looking for someone to advice me on some good 6 x 9 car speakers. I have an Alpine CD receiver, MTX 250 - 4 channel Amp, and 2 front 4 x 6 Panasonic (I think) speakers. I blew my old 6 x 9 speakers out last week and need to replace them. I want some speakers that sound great and can take the power. I love my music loud and need some recommendations on some good brands or maybe some speakers you all use when cruisin'. Hit me up with some info ... please!!

Thanks in advance!

There are plenty of 6x9 speakers you can look into. It soumds like you have a collection of various brands of equipment.

If you're serious about your sound, then look into separating your lows from the mids/highs in your system. JBL has a nice line-up of 6x9 speakers. Check with www.crutchfield.com (http://www.crutchfield.com) for specs and what would fit your car.

I would also dump that MTX amp (garbage IMO) and get something that bangs...

Get Infinity Kappas. A friend of mine installs car stereos, alarms, and other car shiet and he's always told me that Infinity is the way to go.

magic_juan graemlins/conf44.gif The high end stuff is good, the entry-level models don't give as much bump...

Hey Juan,

Don't buy any garbage, dude. You'll be happy in the long-run.
