Has anyone been watching this program. I believe it might be only on PBS's local affiliate in NY, Channel 13. And it may have been shown nationally on other PBS affiliates.
Acts like Aretha Franklin (no comment on her clothes), Billy Paul, Dennis Edwards, Mary Wilson, Gloria Gaynor, Freda Payne, Jerry Butler are still on point! And the backing bands are slammin!!!!! Tired of the membership drives, though.

Caught the show last week. I was really glad to see so many legends up there on stage, bringing helping PBS with their fundraiser (I know it's annoying, but it's sooooooooooooo worth it to keep PBS relatively independent). Even had Miss Aretha up there doin her thang :D

This aired in Chicago Friday night. Glad to see all the oldies still kicking it. Really enjoyed Billy Paul - Glad to see Lou Drawls beat his case too.

Yes, I caught some of that PBS fund-drive special. The updated version of Peaches & Herb brought back a whole lotta fond memories when they sang Reunited and Shake Your Groove Thing!! It's remarkable that so many old school R&B legends are still alive and performing!!! On a bitter note, hearing all those wonderful, classy tunes was a sad reminder of the pool of fecal matter that modern R&B has turned into...
