I have a friend laptop which the disk was partitioned. In Disk Management can I delete the extended disk to make one drive (C: Drive to full capacity)?

My friend just want a C: drive instead of two drives (C: and D:). Oh yea without formatting the C: drive, is this possible?

i dont think so. i am 98% sure you can't.
the "full" partition is an option the first time the drive was installed.

SuzanneT is right. This prog will do what you need. The DM utility in Windows can't do it.

just for my personal info...but partion magic "psych's" out Windows doesnt it? i makes it seem like one full C: drive but if you booted up outside of windows (fdisk command) you'd still see two seperate partitions...no?
