Mannnnnn I found a song I hadnt heard in AEONS!!!

"Mama"- Genesis

I have forgotten how intense this song is. Phil Collins contorts dark lyrics around a hard core industrial beat.

one of my favorite songs of allllll time.

The Delivery of the lyrics riding over penetrating syncopations...

Im a huge Genesis fan...back when PGabriel was lead singer... but this is my all time fav by them.

That song is intense.. the beat is the sickness!

I miss music like this being played on the radio.

LOL, I was too girl. My friends use to think I was crazy for liking this type of music. And no, no radio shit is like this anymore.

Shiiiid dont get Rom on here .... with the Industrial/Punk shyt we will be alll day.

I would love to hear this song (Mama) on a big sound system. But very few have the ballz or the talent to be able to incorp such a song into a set!!!

I am glad others are feeling this as well. No matter what anyone else thinks, Phil Collins is dope. It's funny how uncomfortable (and rather out of place, IMO) he looks in this video .... lol:

It's like they told him "Phil, just stand there, don't move and look hard."

I dont think he is uncomfortable AT ALL. I think he intended the delivery of the song in this video to be UNCOMFORTABLE. The industrial sound and the lyrics fit the delivery. its unnerving almost... seedy and provocative come to mind...

That whole Lp is my favorite by Genesis. My favorite, tune on there is 'It's gonna get better'. Nice tune to zone out on.
