I finally got my gear AND treated myself to a BUNCH of records!!

I'm so excited! I got my DJ equipment AND I went on a major record shopping spree! A brand new bedroom DJ has been born!! :D

THE GEAR:

-Technics 1200M3D turntables
-Stanton SMX-201 mixer (Since I'm just getting started, on the recommendation of the DJ shop owner, I went with a cheapie.)
-Stanton 500AL II cartridges
-RCA cables
-RCA to mini-earphone jack adapter

I will be hooking the mixer into an ADCOM GTP-400 tuner/preamplifier. The tuner/preamp feeds an ADCOM GFA-545 power amplifier. The power amp drives a pair of Klipsch Forte II's. Many years ago, I was an aspiring audiophile until I discovered that the toys I liked were WAY to expensive for me to upgrade regularly. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I still use the same 1200's ... I got them in October of last year...I now use the Pioneer 500 mixer...

Great job on the set up..... Nice tunes also just don't go too crazy buying records, because there is always something new coming out every day.... I know how this can get..... So don't blow your cool....
