Hey guys,
my latest mix, called "No Wave Hookers", is now up at Suenomartino.net.
check it out here (http://suenomartino.net/mixes.htm)
It's a mix-up of mid 80's post-operative disco, and pre-operation house (plus a few ring-ins). A track list :D is included on the site.
All feedback is (of course!) appreciated. Plus, if I manage to generate enough traffic for Sueno's site, he said he'll put up some banner ads for online casino's and cut me in on the revenue.

"I won't do it twice" is a hot cut. Tagged this bio off a German fansite (via Google) for the Rear Admirals.
"In the beginning of the '70s a new musicial era was starting to evolve. People like David Bowie, Marc Bolan and Lou Reed became famous. Gary Swinston admired their music and attitude towards life. That kind of life-style was also made for him, he thought. Especially the idea of becoming a 'popstar' was very appealing.
Gary Swinston changed his name into Phil Sun and formed a punkband, Mean Street. In 1977 they were signed by Mute. Phil Sun was not in the slightest bit punk. Qua appearance neither qua attitude. The only thing he wanted was experiencing to be in a band, making some money and being loved.
At one day a colleague musician brought a synthesiser in the studio. Sun loved the instrument right away. It were the days of Kraftwerk who were currently high in the charts with the single Autobahn. From that moment Phil Sun was convinced he wanted to be a 'synthesiser star'. He forgot all about punkmusic and changed the name of the band into The Rear Admirals. In 1978 they released their self-titled album. A record full of sinister neurotic music, feeded by electronics, guitars and ferm rhythms. Only one bandmember, his best friend, stayed with Sun. The rest left the band, because they did not like the musical direction Sun was going through.
Directly after the release of the debut album Sun decides to go back into the studio. In just three days he records his second album, Rear Entre. The synthesisers are beginning to dominate. It is a big surprise for everyone when the second single of the album - I Won't Do It Twice - reaches the German number 17 spot, leaving incredible populair bands like E.L.O. and Blondie behind. Finally Phil Sun is the popstar he always wanted to be."
