It has been and contunes to be my salvation along with family, my partner and close friends.

My father passed away 4hrs ago...and after comforting my mother ( she needs her own space to grieve )and my sister ( who has had to go to tend to her children , My partner who is currently at work and i am unable to get hold of.

I have come home feeeling sad, empty and hollow.

My dad liked Lennon, who i am currently playing now on the hifi and more than any picture, this is reminding me of him.

Heres to you Dad.

Hey Rob,

Sorry to hear about your dad. My mom died a little over a year ago .. I know how it is (surreal). Hold tight.

my condolences to you & your family Rob. sounds like you were very close to your father. i hope & pray you find strength from this & know he will always be there guiding you through difficult times.

Condolences to you. The Lennon albums are a reminder that as painful the moment is, you and your dad are only physically separated temporarily. In time, you will be reunited and the pain subsides into rekindled joy. God Bless...

cherish that record...it was an actual page in the chapter of your father's life.....

sorry to bump this up again,

But i need to say thanks to those that have posted with condolences and for those that may post later, as i will not be bumping this again.

I really appreciate the replies as i am not the most prolific (sp) poster on this board, but have been overwhelmed with the response from the DHP community..
