An Update On V-Rod's Father

V-Rod's father will have to stay in the hospital for a few more days. (We thought he was getting out last night). His father has the early stages of diabetes (when he was admitted on Monday to the hospital, his blood sugar level was 600). He also has pneumonia (sp) and the doctor's are still trying to figure out why the oxygen in his blood is low. Today, my husband said that his father is feeling much better than he has been in months but as a precaution the doctors still have to evalute his dad.

Thanks everybody for your concern for my father. He really means alot to me, and personally if may say, he is virtually everthing to me, my pillar (sp?) of strength and knowledge. he has shown me everything I need to know about life and how to work and also honor my own family and what marriage is about.

It really surprises me that people can come together and have someone that they don't even know in their thoughts as you guys do. That's real freindship! thanks guys

Today my father got out of the hospital and is doing better, but in the beginning he gave me a scare! That man has almost never been in a hospital in his life and for him to ask me to take him to take him there was a real surprise to me cause he has almost always refused treatment and help from other people.

In the coarse of his stay at Cook County hospital, he was diagnosed with the beginning stages of diabetes, had a pulminary infection which turned out to be pnuemonia and a low oxygen in his blood, not to mention some soars I found out that he had on his body as a result of diabetes. Know he is recovering comfortably at home with his wife, I desided to take my little sisters and have them over my house so he can rest quietly. I appreciate you all and wish that I can do something for you all because of your prayers. But one thing is for sure I will never forget what you guys did!!
