1) I wonder if the Kurt Warner Phenomena is over. Six fumbles, and he didn't look like he was all there. Concussion?
2) The Texans go to Miami and Spank The Dolphins? Whassup with that?
3) I don't think the Patriots recover from trading Lawyer Malloy. Dumb move. And it showed!
4) That Tuna leash Jerry Jones had during that ESPN parade is getting shorter!!!!
5) Steelers spank the Ravens (quiet, Vinny! :D ) How long does Baltimore stay in a 3-4?????
I lost money on the Dallas vs. Atlanta game. I thought fer shure the Cowgirls would have beaten the birds. :(

5) Steelers spank the Ravens (quiet, Vinny! :D ) How long does Baltimore stay in a 3-4????? 1)I think last year was proof that Kurt Warner is not that great a quarterback. He played in a great system with a lot of weapons offensively in those superbowl years. The Rams mojo has fled to the other side of Missouri(Da Chiefs).
2)I wouldn't call losing by one point a spanking 42(Da Bears) however graemlins/jpshakehead.gif ......
3)Totally agree what dumb asses
4)Patience. I think he won't turn them around this season. I say by year 3 Parcells will have them a playoff team.
5)The ravens aren't going to make the playoffs no matter what defense they use.

The 1st-half Giants misfired and were very sloppy. The 2nd-half Giants were much more in sync and effective. The Giant Defense was the only constant positive. I see 17-0 as a sure bet...

A one point game does not a spanking make....that being said, it was still an upset.
Dallas game was interesting to say the least, the Falcons showed they have a possible chance at a decent season without Vick.
Ultimately the only thing that mattered this week outside of the fact that the Giants won is that the Steelers stomped on the Ravens. :D
Detroit - damn!

I'm certainly not a fan of Kurt Warner but in spite of the fumbles and an interception the guy did complete 34-of-54 passes for 342 yards. A lot of teams (Bears) can only dream of that kind of production.

The victory had to be sweet for Drew Bledsoe and Lawyer Milloy but in all fairness I don't believe that the Pats really wanted to trade Milloy. This is one of the bad things about the salary cap. Teams can only afford to give a couple of players top dollar and they are forced to make some hard decisions about who to keep. Milloy came out on the wrong side of the equation.

I know the Texans won by one point over Miami, but consider this:
1) Houston's an expansion team that gave up an NFL record 76 sacks
2) Miami has Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas and Junior Seau on defense.
3) Miami has RB Ricky Williams.
Under the circumstances, even a one-point win by Houston can still be considered a spanking. Peace.

Year in & year out, the experts pick Miami to do some damamge but they never do. Usually their out in the 1st round. Jay Fiedler is a solid quarterback but not a great one. Ricky Williams is good but their defense is over-rated (at-least to me) & the head coach might be their biggest achilles[sp] heel.

OK who watched the "FLAG" football game between the Titans and the Raidahhhss?
Ridicourous with all the flags.
I also watched the Vikings and Packers game. Although it's only the first game of the season, let's hope Minnesota keeps up the intensity!!

In addition to the down year last year, New England switched to a primarily 3-4 defense this season and probably would have fazed out his effectiveness even more this year. Also, there might be some tampering issues with the Redskins and the Patriots in regards to Milloy...Stay tuned. The Patriots and Milloy knew all last year it was going to come to this and Milloy started talking to other clubs because he knew that he wasn't going to take the pay cut. I believe most of the outrage I hear is because he would up in Buffalo and the timing of his leaving right before the regular season.

Malloy and his agent (also, the Redskins, etc) may be charged with tampering (players, agents and other teams talking to each other while the player is still under contract). Stay tuned....

I guess it's hard for fans of other teams to relate to.
