Didn't one of the guys from Imports try to open one somewhere on North Avenue. I know it didn't last long.

CD SOUND out of Philadelphia . Located on 13th and Walnut ....anybody remember that one ? I think it lasted maybe 6 months.

Did'nt trax records have a record store in Chicago in the late 80's and it died just like the recording company.

Yep, it was in 1992 or 1993 when this happened. I went there for the grand reopening with Ron Trent who was promoting his second record and nobody showed up.

Wax Trax actually did really well until they decided to move to Wicker Park.

Decibel will be missed.
