My brother is finally back from the middle east. Talk to him on the phone for about 45 minutes and he was telling me alot of crazy stuff that went on while he was over there. I pray that he along with his company are able to recover from this ordeal. He told me he lost 45 pounds and the food rations were very small.

Master Kev, my brother wanted to personally thank you for keeping his spirits up with your mixes. He took his labtop out there and listened to your mixes until his laptop crashed from the dust storms. Yellorange is down, but not out!!!!!!

Peace

This is truly good news. Hopefully he can decompress and get adjusted to being back in the states. Take it from me, that is critical.

Yeah, I was surprised that he would tell me the things that he witnessed while he was over there. I didn't want to ask him any questions about what he saw and did but I guess it's his way of releasing some of the stress. He's doesn't sleep much and keeps himself very active.I guess we'll find out when he has to go through counseling to see what type of shape he's in.

Thanks for the kind words. This war has affected all of us in some way, near or far. I'm sure there are others that participate on this board who have friends and family members still over there and I send out my prayers to those people. One thing that I can say now is that my mother can finally be at peace with her many months of stress and worrying.

Peace

Thank God Jay!

Well he should talk about it, It's good therapy.
Good mental heath is as important as physical.

Glad he's back.

Groove Victim, will your brother stay in the army and would he be prepared to do the same thing again ? or is it too soon for him to decide

Dolemite, same question for you.

Thanks goodness for the return of these two soldiers.

He can officially retire in 2005, but I don't know if he's going to stay in or not. He more or less explained his distaste for Rumsfeld and how these fools in the administration consistantly delayed their dates to come back home. Time will tell.
