View Full Version : What band would Jesus play in?
I saw this topic on another board and I thought some of the responses were kinda funny. Just wondering what some of your answers would be.

Some really bad Christian metal band like Stryper or Testament. At least, that's what the white Jesus you see in the Christian church might be doing. The real semitic Jesus, well, he'd probably be getting down on some whole other Middle-Eastern riddims. :D

He'd play with Andreas Vollenwieder who plays angelic music from heaven anyway.
Or he would play with Enya.
But I'm sure none of you guys know about Adreas.
Well maybe Ashaki might know something.

o Grateful Dead - which could open up the possiblity of getting his own flavor of ice-cream - Which also opens up the question, what would Jesus ice-cream taste like?
o If he came as an Aussie rocker he'd be in AC/BC :D
Shall I ask the Big Man in the cupboard? :D
He said, "Manchester United, in the vacant spot left by Beckham," nice to see he's got a sense of humor. Well, he'd have to really I suppose :D

I think the man will play in a cross-over band.
Ministry had that song "Jesus built my hot rod." I say Jesus would come back, hook up with Ministry and Time Life Music and put out a box set featuring such hits as: Jesus rotated my tires, Jesus re-built my engine, Jesus tuned up my convertible ...

jesus would be solo and do collabos with bands and producers like the brand new heavies, the clash and ali shaheed muhammed...
I see a collaboration with phuture on Rise from your grave
Perhaps a duet with sultry piano player Nora Jones
they could reform Jesus Jones
if any UK folk remember them
failing that how about working with Boy George to reform Jesus Loves You
