Need info ASAP on running windows on a MAC

Hello,

Can someone tell me the procedure to run windows xp or vista on a mac, I know about parallels, we are looking for a free trial down load before we buy to make sure it works. I have had people try different procedures with flip 4 mac and other sources and nothing seems to be working, if anyone knows a step by step procedure please post it or pM me

Thanks boot camp is only offered on Mac Intel 10.5 Leapord for an older mac someone told me about virtual pc, I have been having everyone trying different things and nothing seems to be working. Of course it is not for me, it is for a program that i am helping a friend try to run windows on and he has an older mac:conf06:

At the moment you really don't have an option other than Virtual PC. Windows OS on runs natively on an Intel Mac strictly because of the chip architecture.

btw Flip4mac is used for playing WMV video codecs, not dual OS's.

Noooo dont do Virtual PC on a Mac, V-PC is a hog on a MAC!!! It runs hella slow. Try the other mentioned alternatives first. Unless you have a pimped out souped up fly G5 PowerMac or MacBook. You must have a really fast Mac, plus a huge hard drive may help with virtual memory too.

Yeah, what's your system configuration? Mac model, RAM, processor speed? What do you need to run on Windows...hopefully not an audio/studio application!?
