The Lead singer sounds exactly like brother Michael Jackson.
That record is like "she's so devine" by The Limit, lifts me up when i am down. i don't hear much of these records today. and yes i do party.

Great moody sounding record, goes nicely with stuff by The System, for one thing.

I know the singer from Cashmere was also in the group Heaven and Earth he was the lead on I Really Love you. There cover of I only have eyes for you is my favorite song by them. And i think it was another really nice song off that Cashmere Album.

I play "Can I" every so often...nice hook and chorus!
I play this about three times a year at any given event whether it's the show or a party or the club.

a solid 80s rollergroove from 1983 graemlins/grinyes.gif ...i put that song in a mix last year in which i followed it up with The Manhattans "Crazy"...have you heard of their earlier record called "Let The Music Turn You On" also on Philly World? that's another cold, cold rollergroove and the lead vocalist could have been a dead ringer for the gloved one...Cashmere put out an album in 1985 which was ok that included "someone like you" which i think is the same song that the late Sylvester covered a year later...
thanks Music for bringing up such an outstanding tune...kudos! graemlins/respekt.gif

speaking of "The Limit", what about 1984's "Say Yes" with the late Gwen Guthrie on vocals? another gem from them. hail.gif

Even the cover version of She's So Divine, by Forrest, is really nice. I get a similar feeling from Who's Been Kissing You by Hot Cuisine. Long live the early 80s!

Music, i really couldn't tell you since i did not move down here until 1990, but you might want to ask Deesko on the board. he grew up in town... speaking of which, i found a copy not too long ago at the goodwill....pure musical bliss! graemlins/1luvu.gif :D
