And What Is The True Meaning Of House Muisc?
The term "House Music" started in Chicago. People called "The Warehouse" "The House" for short. (In the Chi we always use to shorten the names of thinghs to make it sound cool.) The music that was being played at this club was new to Chicago at the time. If you had a tape, or was listening to the type of music that was played at the Warehouse, someone might say, "You are listening to that HOUSE MUSIC"
Meaning you were listening to the same type of music that was played at the warehouse.
