I just got delivery of records I ordered from these cunts. I order 5 records to a tune of 120 quid. 2 turned up, one of which was the wrong one, and I still got charged the full amount. So I phone the cunts, politely explain the situation, to be told "we'll look into it but I don't think there's much we can do". Then the ****ing cunt puts the phone down on me! I phoned back and he did it again!
Now I run a mail order dept myself, you don't do that. I can get it checked out by my credit card issuer, but if they insist they sent all the records not much will happen... mad1.gif graemlins/cussing.gif AR15firing.gif
Martin, Nev, get your posse together and kick their ass.

Dude, seriously, it's well known that these people are shady. As I'm sure you now know, don't use them again.

Those bastards told me they had the records, and I received only 7 on 25 in order ! 7 were the ones I wanted, and 3 or 4 were some shitty remixes or one of the track of the record on a compilation..!?
They charged me and said that I will receive the missing records when they'll be back in stock.
I phoned and the guy thought I was only a stupid frenchy, and as long as I was far, I couldn't do anything.
So after living me with the worst murder ideas, I phoned to my bank and ask what they could do, and they came back on the money charges, and DMF had to pay me back the full count, them cunt !
Honestly, I kept the records and told'hem to go **** theirselves. I had no news since (1999), but now when I look at them, they wanna play like they are "Hard To Find Records" (they copy their record description and all), but they don't have the records, nor the good service...
Don't order from them !
Better go to see oldskoolrecords.co.uk

The only two things they tried to send me were the double promos of "Music Saved My Life" and "Club Lonely". The "Club Lonely" was actually the regular 12 that looks as if it's been through the wash with a deranged cat. They told me to send that one back for a refund, ****ing refund me the other 90 quid first you thieving ****!

The folk in the office had never heard me with such a strong accent, I only get really Scottish when I'm shouting. Ha ha!
jonny, if Nev M & Martin Red aren't sufficient to do the trick, DD Licious & I are willing to come over for some hooligan acts.. We don't really have a long history of hooliganism ourselves, but we are motivated.. graemlins/cool_shades.gif

Cheers Lyot. I think Sam would be good too. David Le C - time to come out of kick boxing retirement. :D

I refuse to use Hard To Find Records too. Years back they were a good shop, helpful, reasonable prices and honest about stock. These days they sell poor quality bootlegs as 'promos'...charge ridiculous amounts for not-so-rare records and take forever to deliver by mail.
I gave up on them after I struck a deal whereby I sent them 3 rare doubles I had and they'd send me back one rare 12" I was after. Three weeks after sending them the records I finally got the 12"...only to discover that it was a ****ing bootleg, advertised on the site as being on the original label. They were really unhelpful when I complained - offering me a credit note worth £10!!!!

AND I'll be in B'ham in June if all goes as planned, so I'm very curious to see the worst vinyl shop ever!
Maybe they could become the Fawlty Towers of record shops and make money out of it?

They ARE making money out of it. mad1.gif
Maybe this Statutory Demand I have here might sort something out. I told him I do mail order myself and not to **** around. They'll see.

I know the rip-off feeling, that dude rare_collection on Ebay ripped me off on Chip E's 'Jack Trax' for $60...
No response whatsoever to any of my 10+ e-mails, and when I was tired of it I left negative feedback, and what do you know, an e-mail calling me a fraude and saying that he sent it twice, blahblahblah. Yeah right, with a e-mail addy registered on Ebay that doesn't exist and mailing me from a different one than the initial one...pffff.
50 happy Ebay sellers can't be wrong!

Jonny
contact your card issuer. Either tell them the truth or tell them that these records turned up at your home unexpectedly when you didn't even order them - just deny all knowledge of the order. You should get some joy.

Martin, Nev, get your posse together and kick their ass. I ordered Kerri Chandler - Inspiration double pack 2 weeks ago gave the guy my credit card number etc and I`ve still not heard **** all from them. I e-mailed them yesterday to find out the score but haven't heard back yet, but in light of you bringing this to my attention I`m going to phone these tits and see what the script is. If any bullshit I think a shopping trip to Birmingham with the baseball bats is in order and these cunts will be getting rattled.

Why don't we like mobilize the whole DHP and keep sending them absurd e-mails? It could cause some jolly good confusion in ol' Birmingham...
Just a thought...
Otherwise I'm going to buy a new pair of boxing-gloves... :D

Cunts is too light a word.
contact the card issuer jonny, and you should be able to get a refund for what didn't come through. Contact trading standards & the DTI, get these mother****ers brought to buck. Makes my ****in blood boil. Apparently the guy who runs it is some shady ****, who doesn't care. COCKSUCKERS.
Sorry to hear this Jonny.

I used DMF once - I ordered the 5 track issue of "Equinox vol.1" on Retroactive and got sent the 4 track promo with Carl Craig - The Climax on the flip. Only 150 copies made - HAHAHA!!! :D .
So they eventually did some right for me in a wrong way for themselves...
But yeah, they do suck!!! And after all this "recommendation" I'm never gonna use them again!!!
