Hey Duke, getting back to that "blow" track on Music For Your Ears.......you had nothing to do with it??????

All this years, I've been calling it "blow" by DJ Duke

I know that FUNKY HORNS is written on it. Are you "Funky Horns"????? graemlins/conf44.gif

mike I don't think I ever named the mixes, but I believe the "A" side is the "Main Mute Mix" Side "B" is "Another Mute Horn Mix" and "Mute Dub"

Wasn't there a clear vinyl on this? I can't even find my own.

By "clear" do you mean transparent?? The 2 copies that I have are black vinyls, and there are no titles to the 3 tracks. It just says FUNKY HORNS "blow" . and of course the logo of Music 4 Your Ears...........Black lettering on a crimson red backdrop......

welcome on board! his releases had quite an influence on me as well. i'm still playing some of the TechDisco records some 6 years after picked them up.

there was an EP that i heard about, but was never able to pick up entitled the "deep house" ep with cuts like Fingers, Trent, Heard..... this exists, right? i've been after that for at least 7 years.

And my FINAL request. . .How about a DJ Duke mix for the DHP pages?

graemlins/respekt.gif graemlins/respekt.gif hail.gif </font>[/QUOTE]Those are definitely "titles" that spark ideas. I'll be on the case ASAP/

I am down to supply some mixes to the DHP. I actually have some old WNYU radio shows I did from 1990 with Deep house and classics and some slamming new mixes. What do I need to do?

The Henry Street mix was underground so I doubt Manuel knew about it. Maybe he would have digged it. E2E4 is one of my all time top favorites.

I have a question. Who is Matt??

Yo Duke...you still dropping "Circus Bells" by Robert Armani??? I used to loose it when you would play that @ the parties @ Firestone in Orlando. Then you would hit us w/ some fierce wildpitch....man, to me those were thee best House sounds. Of course Power Musics empire was @ the top of things...giving us Tribal, Deep Chicago, Wildpitch of course...& just those raw ass beatz....Gotta bring back those tracks bro.
I'll hit you w/ an email broski.

My votes for "Old Skool Deep House Classics Part 2" track titles:

"Konders"
"Principal"
"Terry"
"Nu Groove"
"Chip"
"Smooth"
"Kevorkian"

How about a Whistle Song reworking, with the magic Duke touch, a la E2-E4? (How on Earth did Henry St. manage to get that out?!?!?)
