i'm still on cloud 9 the day after...(i think i'm still coming down from the effects of "the truth")...but anyway, we were blessed with a beautiful day despite the negative forecast...lil ray deserves big props for giving us ten years of his generosity and time and great food...i don't know how he does it every year without a lot of help...i was honored to be included in such a great lineup of djs who i admire and respect--herb martin, victor rosado, timmy regisford, and donna edwards(sista is no joke,definitely on top of her game)...my highlight of the day: seeing ceybil jeffries come out and bless us with her presence & song when she wasn't feeling well...that was big...thanks to everyone for showing love...yo yorel, i'm fiending for the video tape...holla at me, peace! biggrinangel.gif

Ray, to tell you thank you seems like so little when you consider all the raw effort, work and love you put into doing this beautiful event **an event that you have been able to sustain for Ten years (even when the wheather was less than cooperative). What you have accomplished and done for us (the Soulful Dance Community) with this event (along with everything else you do) is nothing short of amazing!!! I am both proud and blessed to have been a part of this beautiful event and to be able to have you as a friend. Ray, Once Again... THANK YOU!!!

I also must thank everyone who came out many of you I know many of you i met for the first time and it was great to finally put some faces with the names: Musica (happy birthday baby), Ilsa, Vanessa, Q, Doris, Earon, Tyrone Francis, Ronnie Ron (nice to meet you), Jon (BX), Eddie S(Men in Rhythm), Nubia, Lisa, Dannielle, Shalewa, TOT, Toisha, Red, Chris(the truth is no joke), Girl Friday(It was lovely meeting you listening to you Cd as I Type graemlins/remybussi.gif ) Master Kev, Ms. Evelyn (happy B-Day), Lawrence, Heavenly, Mangina(JD nice to finally meet you), Ian Friday, Chicago Headz, NJ Headz, NYC Headz and anyone else I may have forgotten(please forgive me) thank you for helping to make this a beautiful event.

Also it was my honor and pleasure to be included in this DJ line up, hats off and graemlins/respekt.gif to Victor Rosado, Timmy Regisford, Donna Edwards, And (my patna in crime) Kim Lightfoot...it was a a pleasure working with all of you.

I'm almost finised rambling but last but not least, I thank god for giving us a beautiful day

One more thing I just want to thank all the peeps who made the hike all the way from the park to come check out Manski, Kim & myself. Jamie it was great see you and chatting for a while. El (I know you were not there this week) but thanks for the edit you gave me a few weeks ago i will be in touch..
