I'm thirsty as hayle.

The water's been off all AM here in my bldg. Folk are having to resort to drastic measures...going elsewhere for water & restroom facilities. Yet, we are still here.

And guess what--THE SPRINKLERS DON'T WORK either.

I need to go home. However, I'm trynna take it in stride. You should see the look on folk faces when I say "...if I'm feeling inconvienced I could only imagine what the Astrodome was like".

PS. I wonder what the Fire Marshall/OSHA would say about this.

There is this family in Brooklyn that their
water got turned off because they did not
pay the water bill for 5 years and the city
is not havin that so until they pay there is
no WATER. Your situation might be different
and I'm really sorry to hear that your water
was cut off I just hope that they paid the
water in your case. That's f%#ked up for the
family in Brooklyn because the city advertized
the water cut off and now everybody knows
that they owe money for the water.....

Padding Technique:

Layer a ply or two of bog paper( or divide one in half )over the surface of the water before laying your cable, and the signal to noise ratio is greatly reduced.

You might want to call the city health dept asap just in case this might be a on going situation.

I would also call the "State of N Y" or whatever state you are in as back up to override any unnecessary delays.

Within 3 days the building will be a heath violation and folks may get ill.
